This is an OLDER property and the room had old tile in the bathroom with bad patch jobs. There was an old shooter bottle under the mattress but thankfully a bed bug cover on said mattress. The vinyl wood flooring was sticky and the microwave did not work. The bed creaked when you moved around but it was just enough to get a somewhat decent night sleep. The hotel is in a sketchy part of Farmington, NM and the continental breakfast was non-existent as the attendant told us they were working on cooking more food at 7am (local time). Probably would never stay here again.

Parking in the back looked a bit on the dark side (i’m small female travelling alone) but the receptionist noted I could park along the curb out front where there’s much more light and closer to the front entrance — I wouldn’t have to enter from the back or side. He was very kind and reassuring. The room had everything I needed and the lobby was stocked with iced water, which not every hotel has these days! Pet fee was also $35, which I feel is reasonable. It’s not very modern, but actually that meant the room was more spacious and everything was provided for.

Limited breakfast items. Very lame as compared to other hotel offerings. Noisy occupants slamming doors in the early morning hours (2:00AM). A/C in the room rattled and couldn't rest. No elevator.

Farmington is a small town in NW NM; so not much to say location-wise, other than that the hotel is situated near the main east-west highway and right across from the Riverwalk - a nice, shady boardwalk along the San Juan river with parks and play areas. The room was very spacious. Bathroom was OK. The room furniture, carpets and bathroom fixtures were starting to show signs of age. The free breakfast was fine, but pretty bare-bones. The hotel staff were courteous at check-in/check-out. There are a few dining options nearby - Denny's and Village Inn are right across the street. Overall, it is a fine hotel. Nothing outstanding, but does its job.

The property is just okay. It is definitely in need of some upgrades. It is definitely an older hotel. It waa fine for our needs, just a single night before continuing on with our journey. Its just 'okay'. The staff was very nice. The breakfast was okay. I sid appreciate the green chile for my eggs!!
