Perfect stay except for construction noise

I attended a three day convention recently at the hotel. Our room on the 8th floor was wonderful; quiet, comfortable and dark. The breakfast was amazing; I loved the omelets and there were a lot of other items too. I also attended all the happy hours which were crowded but the bartenders were wonderful. The only problem was the construction noise on Friday. The staff really tried to make it for it by offering us extra award points and being very welcoming. But it was still hard to talk with the loud construction going on the first floor. And the pool was closed which wasn't a big issue for me. Hopefully the construction will end soon as it was a nice setting for a conference or convention. Try to ask for a room for a higher floor. Floor 8 was perfect.

We enjoyed our one-night stay here. The room was very comfortable and clean. We were given a nice suite due to no availability for an ADA room. The free breakfast and service was outstanding.

This hotel is under renovation. Construction is going in entire hotel dining & bar area. I would have not stayed there for our honeymoon if I would have known this advance. I received an email 1 day in advance about the renovation and no time to find another hotel for myself and wedding party.

We were NOT told that the property was under construction and it was SUPER LOUD! AND even worse we were not told that the pool was closed for construction! We chose this hotel so we could sit by the pool. We really deserve a refund of some sort. Very upset!
