Very disappointing stay at Ramada Cumberland., The hotel was very old, not clean, elevators not working, ice machines not working, breakfast offerings sorely lacking including rotten fruit. The facility itself was in disrepair including mismatching carpeting, missing carpeting in areas, drapes that had probably not been cleaned in a decade, and a train display showcase that had visible thick dust all over it. This photo on this site, is NOT the Wyndham Cumberland; oh how we wish it was. Our stay would have been much more enjoyable.

Parking was limited in front but okay in the unmonitored side and back. Rooms were clean but outdated. Only one elevator was operable. Breakfast was limited with the only hot cooked item being gravy and biscuits. For the price it was acceptable. All bicycles are stored in a lobby side room.

Fantastic 4 day stay! Stayed in the king suite with livingroom, dining room, 2 bathrooms, and comfortable king bed! Everyone was very friendly at the kiosk check in/out, front desk, and management! Tons of sites to see, a wide variety of places to eat, quick access to shopping from boutiques to groceries, and all within walking distance of a few minutes. Water pressure and temp was always consistent and good. This hotel is in a great location and has a fantastic crew.

The location is okay but the hotel itself is absolutely terrible. There is no front desk staff prior to 3pm. Instead you're met by a kiosk with a guy with a heavy accent from who knows where. He doesn't have the ability to set up any changes to your room or early check in. We asked to talk to the manager and the man muted and spoke on the phone with someone and told us the same answer. There is no restaurant, no store, only 1 elevator, the rooms smell and are dirty. The pool is also completely overgrown and unmanaged. Just a terrible place to stay. It's turned me off Ramada brand completely

Room was good size and clean. Staff was friendly but glad I didn’t have to sign into the hotel using that robot looking device. Furniture is a bite old and looks it in areas, small table rocked. Breakfast was good. The only negative thing was I couldn’t keep my bikes in the room without a $250 charge. An area is provided to store your bikes so you don’t need to leave outside.

My stay was fine for an overnight, I would definitely go back. The building is older, but work has been done to keep it in decent shape. The night time staff was great! They got me checked in, told me about the area, and made certain I had everything I needed; along with extra parking suggestions. This hotel is right down from a very walkable part of downtown and bike trails. The breakfast is okay. For the price, it’s hard to criticize any part of this experience.

I am a 76 yr old disabled women and was put out the hotel because I asked for a sheet and blanket. I was told they could not provide it. I said I would call corporate so she said I could get a refund. I stated I did not ask for one. I proceeded to board elevator to go to room and she yelled miss you can’t go to the room. I said I’ve already paid so she then told me she was refunding my money. She said you have to leave. So I was told I had to wait 2-4 days to get my money.I was told to request it thru Expedia

I have recently booked a three night stay at the Ramada inn in Cumberland Maryland. I am writing to say that the hotel is less than the lowest review I can give We got there Thurs sep 12 , the check in was odd. There was no one at the desk but I Heard “are you checking in” I looked around and saw a kiosk with a person that is going to check Us in … I was Taken back. After we checked in we took the 1 elevator that was in service to our floor .,.,we got to the room and it looked very clean and smelled good …. But the mattress needs to be replaced and so do the pillows ….We left the hotel for a while and came back and asked Why is the bar not open as advertised … they said we can’t find anyone that wants to work … I was like really this town had many people that need jobs .. he said yeah but They work for two Days and then don’t Show up … I thought that was odd… we went to our room for the night and decided to turn on the TV, we were looking for a certain channel so we grabbed the plastic stand with the channels on them only to find out the information was not correct we clicked channel 34 and took us to 27.. it was crazy in the morning we took advantage of the free breakfast they offered …, I was Really disgusted …. Muffins were stale I almost choked … no cranberry juice at the delapitaded machine … when I told the breakfast lady that there was no cranberry juice she said “I don’t Know anything about that … so I had some orange juice … More to this email sending to wydam

Find somewhere better....

This was our second time staying at this location. The first time we had no complaints. This time was different. There is a homeless camp/hangout on the far side of the parking lot. The person working the front desk was not friendly. He was not rude, but seemed miserable. The breakfast provided was a joke. Weird odor throughout the entire building and it did not feel "clean". One of the elevators was out of order. You can hear doors slamming all night long. Our second night, our neighbors were extremely loud. We could everything they were saying. We couldn't get our TV to work the first night, but it was magically working fine the second night. Overall, would not stay here again or recommend it. Pay a little more and stay somewhere more comfortable.

Staff was very pleasant. Vacuumed the reception area twice in 24 hours. BUT: One elevator was broken, the other had dirty buttons and nicked surfaces and no inspection certificate. Breakfast was really gross. The coffee dispenser looked greasy and the juice dispenser had illegible worn out hand written “not in service” labels and strange tasting orange juice. Pillows were lumpy. Everything looked just old and worn out except for the weird virtual checkout kiosk. Strangest most disappointing stay of our trip across MD/PA. Made us wonder if this is really a corporate Ramada or an off brand very low budget independent?
