Do not stay at this place if you want to sleep. Each time the heater started it sounded like a jet engine firing up. Since the bedding was inadequate, and no additional blankets were available in the room, our choice was to freeze or be awaken each to the heat can on. Oh, the hotel provided a box of facial tissues with three remaining and no replace box.

We were to stay two tonight, but we checked out early. Not real happy with our stay. Check-in went well and the front desk agent was very helpful, after getting into our room we found our TV did not work. We called the front desk and was informed that they didn’t have anybody to come up and fix it until security got there at 8 PM. I decided to try to fix it myself which I did. In the morning we went to go have breakfast and was informed that breakfast was not available due to being slow season. I have to admit the hostess that we spoke with was very kind And even went out of her way to go to the kitchen to see if the cook was there, but unfortunately, he wasn’t. At checkout, I voiced my disappointment in the property the front desk agent was non-sympathetic to my concerns. when told that the breakfast wasn’t available the front desk agent stated we’ve never had breakfast then I stated that’s not what it says on your website and on Expedia it states breakfast is served daily and we were also informed of the breakfast and it’s time and location upon check-in, then when I mentioned the TV wasn’t working correctly and then I had to fix it she rudely asked well Did you tell anybody and I replied yes I did. She asked for my email to email me a receipt and I have yet to receive it. For the price that I paid for our stay, I kinda expected a better experience.

We stayed here for one night. All of the rooms have ocean views and nice patio/deck. The biggest downside for us was the bed, the bedding and the heater. The bed was pretty so-so in terms of comfort, the blankets thin and insufficient, and the heater was incredibly loud, which kept us up all night. There is full kitchen and if you are planning on staying for a few days that could come in handy. The beach in front of the hotel is fantastic. If we were staying for more than one night we would have asked for an extra blanket, but that still doesn't make up for the loud heater.

Beautiful Beach Trip

Always enjoy staying at Driftwood Shores. Every room has a beautiful view. Our only notable problem was that we had some VERY noisy upstairs neighbors late in the evening. A quick call to the front desk and it quieted down within about fifteen minutes, though.

First time coming to this hotel. The good- It had great beach access and ocean views. The bad- for the price of the room it didn’t include any breakfast. The shower had mold growing on the walls. Gross. The blankets on the bed was a flat sheet, with a flannel style thin blanket and another flat sheet on top. No real comforters. The biggest issue is that we booked this specific hotel based off the great accommodations for toddlers at the pool. We get there and half the pool accessories were broken and out of order. We didn’t get any notification before hand. Had we of known we would have picked a cheaper hotel with a pool that didn’t have the toddler splash pad, since we couldn’t use it anyways. If your pool splash pad is broken you should give a heads up in an email stating it’s broken and give people time to cancel in time to get a full refund.

Great short get away

Check in was fast and we got in early. Staff was very nice. Play structure was great for our grandson. Swimming pool is good but to cold for me. Great view of the ocean and great access to a very walkable beach

The first room they put us in was really nice. It was a king with a full-size kitchen and there is no Wi-Fi. Apparently that’s like a dead spot that room specifically so the receptionist Luke was very kind to move us to the room below us and we were able to get Wi-Fi and Turns out the two beds had massive slopes in the middle of them so sleeping on those beds was not very comfortable at all. They definitely need to upgrade their beds and room 205 and fix the Wi-Fi in 305 other than that, Luke was amazing and our stay was awesome. We’ve been at this hotel before four years prior and will come back again as it is one of our favorites.

Room was clean and everything worked. Beautiful view of the ocean with direct access to the beach. There was not a screen door on the sliding door but looked like that was common on all units.

We really liked the property. The view is amazing. We didnt try the restaurant on the property. The hours of the restaurant arent great. So I can't really review that. Theyre putting in a tea bar soon. I was a bit upset I couldnt make coffee in the lobby. I guess thats coming soon with the tea bar. For how much this place costs they should have complimentary coffee and creamer in the lobby. That was the only down side. Otherwise it was a great stay.

The view of the ocean is what brings me to this hotel. However, this most recent stay was less than great. The bed was so uncomfortable, i hardly slept. The mattress felt like plywood and the pillows were lumpy and hard. When i tried to shower, the bottle of shampoo was completely empty. Couldn't even get a dime size amount to come out. The on site restaurant doesn't stay open for dinner during mid week. Walls were paper thin and i was put right next to someone and could hear their entire phone conversation, rather than giving a little space between guests when it's not overly busy
