They say, "You get what you pay for" I didn't pay much so I didn't get much either. This place is in dire need of renovations. My room smelled like a gas station bathroom, coincidentally it kind of looked like one too. Lighting was very dim even for hotel room standards, probably on purpose so you can't see how bad a shape the place is in. The conversations taking place in the parking lot may as well have been next to the bed, the door and walls did nothing to dampen the sound. Also don't be fooled by the cheap price online, because they make you put down an additional $100 deposit when you check in. A check-in which took about 15 minutes longer than it should. The one and only redeeming quality is the AC unit actually worked well. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra $20 for a decent hotel.

Best Value Hotel

Stayed for CSU graduation weekend. I have stayed at most of the 'value' hotels along I25 & Mulberry...this was the cleanest w/best bed!

Pictures are deceiving

The room was large, bed comfy. But the room had a strange odor! It was supposed to be non-smoking, but it smelled stale and funky. Even after returning home my clothes still reeked of this odor! The bathroom sink had the water faucets in reveres positions and it took 2 minutes or so of running the hot to get even warm water! The room was in need of new paint and updating. The free continental breakfast was a joke! You could hear other guests making noise in their rooms. At check-in I was asked if I was aware of their security deposit. It was $100 per night or $150 for 2 nights! Nothing mentioned about this on the web site when making the reservation! However, my deposit has been credited back to my CC and is currently pending.

Terrible stay. Dirty bed comforter and sheets. Furniture was old and chipped bad. Shower was in bad shape. Washcloth held in place for shower curtain. We asked for towels, never rec'd. Charged us $66.60 and no one could explained. Terrible experience!

Awful

Room was not at all like advertised. Blood on sheets and lamp. Flour board between bedroom and bathroom rotted out. Massive paint chunks falling off the walls and homeless people parked living in their car in the parking lot and off on the side of the road.

We came to Colorado to see my son Graduate from CSU. The description of the hotel was very inaccurate. The beds were comfortable and the shower was a good temperature but the pictures of the room were not true. Our bedside lamp was on its last leg while the cord was draped over the wires from the outlet that was hanging out of the wall. The full breakfast was microwave frozen sausage and eggs for 3minutes with green bananas and water apple juice. The waffles were good if you took apart the machine and jiggled the batter into a cup. And don’t complain about the boyfriend beating his girlfriend because they don’t care.

Don’t Be Fooled by the Cheap Price – This Place Isn’t Worth a Dime or Jacuzzi Surprise: Now With Bonus Brown Foam From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place had seen better days. The sink was chipped, and the floor was dirty—a small but telling sign of how little care goes into cleanliness or maintenance. The walls and doors were paper-thin. We could clearly hear people across the hall and down the corridor talking late into the night and early morning. It made us uncomfortable knowing our own conversations were just as audible. The room featured a jacuzzi next to the bed, which might sound cool, but quickly turned disgusting. The bathroom had neither a shower nor a tub. Instead, outside of the bathroom, the jacuzzi, with a hospital-style curtain and a showerhead, was three feet from the bed. Zero privacy. You know, like a Bathroom? I followed the instructions, filled the tub, and climbed in. Then I turned on the jets. Slowly, brown, greasy foam began to rise. It reeked. I had to get out of that grime, but I had to wait for it to drain so I could rinse off. I was covered in someone else’s aged, fermented, body-oiled, stagnant, leftover grime. That was the only bathing option. It felt unsanitary and unsafe. I had booked three nights—we left after one and were gone by 7 AM. I want a refund for the other two, but I’m not holding my breath. If you stay here, hold yours. Bring Earplugs and a Hazmat Suit

Aside from the fact that 2 separate keys are needed to enter the building and then enter the room (which we were not informed of by staff or given the other key) a man who was staying there gave us his key to get into the building since he was on the bottom level. The hotel was okay, pretty clean, not too noisy located RIGHT next to a Maverick gas station, the ice machine was not functional, and the breakfast was a normal hotel breakfast, but the apple juice did not work.

This was an excellent value. Everyone of the staff we met was friendly and helpful. Great employees! Continental breakfast was a plus. I had to check out a day early on my 3-day stay, and they even refunded the third day I didn't use. I would stay there again!
