The hotel was nice. My only complaint was the tables in the dinning room was unstable and rocky. I saw where persons had to put tissue paper under the table legs to stop it from rocking and turning over their food. I was also surprised to see that the maid service was not daily. I must say that there is a lot of cut backs these days all around the world.

The lady at the front desk was terrible when we checked in she was miserable and mean when we went to our room, the door wouldn’t open so we went back downstairs and she told us we just weren’t opening it right because we didn’t turn the handle, but yes we did so we went back up and she had to call maintenance and they ended up putting us in a different room. She was absolutely miserable. The whole day was terrible.

Check in was abrupt and not helpful. No luggage carts available and no help with luggage. Room was clean & comfortable with bizarre placement of liquid soap dispenser at the far end of the bathroom sink vanity! Also, VERY loud bathroom exhaust fan! Breakfast was busy & crowded with a variety of food. Check out was quick but had to ask for receipt. Unfortunately I didn't look at the receipt until after I left and discovered a SURPRISE $6 CHARGE FOR PARKING! This fee was NOT mentioned or disclosed anywhere on my reservation or when I registered and should be REFUNDED immediately! This was a self-park Holiday Inn Express...no garage, no valet, minimal service. Not a happy ending!

Great breakfast, room is nice. Beds not great,. Staff is nice verbally...but we called several times to get towels and did not get them. We booked for 4 people, but only 3 sets in room, its frustrating. Pool is ok, not heated.
