Huge disappointment

We were very disappointed when we arrived at this hotel. The description said there were 5 beach bars, a restaurant, bar/lounge, and more, but these were some of the amenities that helped us choose this hotel. We get there and they have none of these. They said they sold a property that had these things, but they don’t now. So we basically had to use Uber to take us places for entertainment, when we thought everything would be close by. Also, the room had one mirror in the room. Only the one outside the bathroom by the sink. When you have ladies getting ready to go anywhere, you definitely need more mirrors. The room wasn’t very well lit either. The pool was nice, so that was good. They advertised beach chair rentals for $5, with no mention of a $70 deposit on each chair. That was returned when we returned the chairs, but we just surprised when they told us that.

Sheets were dirty, rooms were smaller than expected. No ice machine on 2nd floor. 2nd floor vending machine only served warm drinks. I also left a something in the room called back and they said nothing was found.

This is a OK place to stay for a night before a cruise. We had the Kitchenette room, but didn’t really use it. The ice machine is outside by the pool area , had to walk through a parking area to get it, weird. The air conditioner in the room was very noisy, the windows do not open, we stayed on the back side of the building so it wasn’t too bad for noise, facing the road is very noisy, Lobby is small, No restaurants, McDonalds across the street was a blessing. We stayed for 3 nights before the cruise, wouldn’t do it again for 3.

Think twice....

The room was dark, smelled, tiles in shower area coming off, bed was uncomfortable it was way to soft and sunk in, refrigerator wasn't cold at all, TV was so fuzzy it was hard to see the football game. $12 a night to park!!

When I booked they said they had a shuttle to the airport , what the don’t tell you is you have to pay, if you want a chair at the pool it 5.00 The hotel is old and rundown, save yourself Don’t book there.

My only complaint is that the day of checkout , maintenance came knocking on everyone’s door before checkout time asking to be let in to change the ac filters. I’d you said no they’d try to be persistent and say it would be quick and only take A few minutes. I don’t understand why they couldn’t wait a few minutes until checkout time . They came knocking around 10:20 am, I found this to be rude.
