Pelican Grande sits on the beach. The rooms are spacious with a nice separate sitting area. Hotel staff friendly. The main restaurant is pricey, don’t sit outside on the left side, too much traffic. Happy hour has a nice menu. Coffee shop/ice cream shop has good coffee. Restaurant next door is good, Sand Bar? and more affordable for breakfast and lunch.

We had a seaside King suite and the size and comfort of it as well as room design was just wonderful! The view was exceptional and totally worth the upcharge! The staff on the Beach was very helpful - especially Frank to mention. Was very accomodating in finding us the right spot and placed the umbrella exactly where needed. Beach was super clean and we wished we could have stayed for weeks! Cocktails during happy hour were affordable and delicious. Wagyu Prime Rib and Seafood Pasta in the restaurant outstanding! Service guy Matthew offered excellent service - very knowledgeable and super friendly!

We've Got to Come Back!

I was blown away with the Pelican Grand Beach Resort. It reminded me of the Beach Club at DisneyWorld - that old, charming feel with wide spaces, the large porch with rocking chairs, the lazy river. Our room was a special surprise. Beyond what I would consider an exceptionally nice room, there was a sitting area that could have housed another couple or a couple of kids - with their own tv, a retro fridge, and a pull-out sofa. The best part was the location ON the beach, not across the highway from the beach. I wish we had been able to stay longer!
These unique rooms were divided by a glass wall with shades and a door.
As soon as we stepped onto the beach, we were offered chairs, towels, an umbrella, and food & beverages.
The building is only 20 years old, but it's got an old-feel charm.
We'll be back!

Loved our hotel and room. We had a great view and we received 2 free drink tickets and a free ticket on the Water Taxi. The food at both restaurants was very good. We also had lattes and icecream ar the little store there.
