The hotel overall aesthetics was very nice. The parking charge was steep. The pool area is limited & fills up quickly. The staff was absolutely fantastic & really what makes this place stand out from others. Everyone I encountered was so friendly & helpful. Especially the hard working beach staff. I didn't use their internet while there so can't comment on it. Bed was standard comfortable. Minor things that bothered me was a roach in my bathroom the first night but it's Florida in the summer. It was just one. It happens, I guess. The cloth couch cushion had a questionable stain. I flipped it over & avoided it. The towels had a weird smell.

I would give 5 start but i feel it was to pricey for the service received, staff was nice, room was nice but not a wao, besides this the parking was very very expensive and the resort fee as well, in conclusion we paid a lot of money for a regular service, i don't think we will come back

The valet parking is kind of pricey but understandable. As the main and only option for parking there isn’t any choice. The room could use maintenance, cracks in the floor and pieces raised, shower window was short and water spills everywhere in the bathroom. Tv could be bigger and provide some additional channels vs charging for bundles

Great Anniversary Weekend

My husband and I celebrated our fifth anniversary over the 4th of July weekend at the Pelican Grand. We loved the quality of the food that was offered. There was a great selection on their menu. The accommodations were extremely comfortable in the room. Our room had a balcony from where we watched all the fireworks. We enjoyed live music almost everyday in the lobby. The best part was the lazy river where I almost fell asleep listening to the music while relaxing. The only negative aspect of staying there was the $65 x night for parking a car on top of $52 x night resort fees. So when planning your stay these costs should be factored in to the budget. But, overall, UBER is readily available and the hotel also has a complimentary shuttle.
