Great location and well maintained hotel. A tale of two managers: first one at check-in seemed extremely annoyed by the fact that I was there to check-in from a reservation previously made; never greeted me nor made any conversation, just demanded my ID and Card. Then, with a loud, frustrated sigh while walking out of the office, he gasped, “well I guess I have to go see if we even have any rooms ready”.
Now, the manager for the night shift was exceptionally courteous and greeted me with a smile. She legitimately looked happy to be assisting me.
They placed all guests for that night right next to each other and on the same side of the hotel, which is the opposite side of the pool. The total headcount was less that a quarter of the hotel’s maximum capacity. I only bring this up as I was there to relax and was instead surrounded by families with children and pets who were there to run around and loudly converse outside of their rooms.
Then, when trying to sleep in, I was suddenly awoken by the loud voices and laughter, conversing with each other from opposite ends of the walkway, and these loud conversations occurring in Spanish we by the hospitality staff.
Worth the price, if you’re just needing a place to pull
Over and hang with the family, not ideal for those looking to rest their head and catch a late morning sleeping in.
I don’t usually complain nor write these reviews. So yeah…
