Absolutely Unacceptable Stay – Basic Amenities Failed Twice Our recent stay at [Hotel Name] from [Arrival Date] to [Departure Date] was extremely disappointing and frustrating due to significant failures in basic room amenities. Upon checking into our first room, we immediately discovered that the shower was completely non-functional., making it impossible to use. We promptly reported this to the front desk, and while they did move us to a new room, the solution presented an equally major problem. The second room we were moved to lacked central air conditioning. Instead, it was equipped with only a small, inadequate portable AC unit. Given the zone typical hot/humid climate, e.g., "warm Fort Myers Beach weather during our stay, this portable unit was completely ineffective at cooling the room. We were left hot, uncomfortable, and unable to get a restful night's sleep throughout our stay in this second room. It is frankly unacceptable for a hotel to provide rooms with such fundamental issues. A working shower and effective air conditioning are not luxuries; they are basic expectations when booking accommodation. While we appreciate the staff's attempt to move us, the second room .

The property was in a nice location, easy access to walkable locations. The only bad thing about it was my room on the third floor. The room was very nice and clean, except there were six large palm trees right in front of my balcony so even though it was listed as a Beach front unit the amount of ocean I was able to see was extremely minimal. I should have just asked for another room when I saw the palm trees in front of the balcony, but my husband didn’t want me to make a fuss.

We arrived at Lani Kai Friday afternoon; checking was super easy and super convenient. I felt it was a Super 8 at one point because each room A\C unit was located on the hallway, the return hot air blowing out while you walk by. I guess there’s nothing they can do with that. The rooms were newly renovated. New bathroom, kitchen cabinets, and bed frames. Well, platform with a single mattress. I was expecting a very soft and comfy bed but mine was hard. I am sure people who like that kind of bed would be very pleased. I found 2 flat skinny pillows on my bed. I had a hard time sleeping because of that; the next day I asked for 2 more pillows and front desk related the message to housekeeper and they quickly came, cleaned the room and left the extra pillows. I was very happy about that. That morning I wanted to have breakfast at Lani Kai. I ordered exactly what was written on the menu. The problem was when I received my order it was smuggled with cheese, but my item didn’t mention it.I scraped off the cheese and eat the eggs and potatoes. I didn’t continue picking my breakfast in front of my friends so I asked it to go to finish on my room. It was too much cheese and been lactose intolerance I decided not to continue eating. I tried telling the manager but crossing his arms standing tall in front of me as i was down I felt he was punishing me. I am honest with my experience; I hope they addressed some of this issues so others have better experience than I.

Nice property paper thin walls, can hear people at a normal talk through the walls & everything else they are doing as well. Staff is friendly & accommodating, weak expensive drinks, not a very big restaurant menu to choose from breakfast or dinner, just your typical basic items. Pool is small, beach is large lol, you have to pay for daily parking $20 per day, you have to pay for beach lounges, umbrella & table $10 each every day if you want to use them. Bring lots of money for the extras

This place was really cute and offered a wonderful beach view from the balcony. The staff here were super friendly and the rooms were nice and clean . The beds were pretty firm but we agreed that the view made up for the beds .
