It was a pleasant surprise. It’s an older resort, but it’s recently been remodeled and looks great. Great beach access. Nice amount of activities going on around the resort. And the pool was above our expectations. A great stay.

The staff we're so nice from allowing us to check-in early since our plane arrived early and we were able to easily unpack and go straight out to the beach. There's food and drinks available and a waitress will come out and serve you on the beach. There's a variety of food available at the bottom of the hotel, a pool and you're given two bottles of water daily. The best food and service available in grace's cafe that we ate there 3 times for dinner! There were only two of us that stayed in a single room with two double beds, but everyone has an ocean view with a balcony which I think is terrific. There's live music in the evening and while I didn't bring my family, I did notice that it is family friendly. The location was perfect and I was able to walk from one end of the beach down to the other.
Looking out from the ground floor to go out to the beach. Food, bar, picnic tables and couple stores here too.

For an older hotel, we found it to be a hidden gem. There was still construction going on but the resort had all the amenities needed. The beach was well kept and the on site restaurant had great happy hour specials including some of the freshest oysters we had in awhile.

We loved our stay at the Lani Kai. It was refreshing to stay at a property that felt like it wasn't cookie cutter or corporate run. The dining options were great and you could not beat the convenience to the beach.

It took 2 days to get trash can replaced. The hurricane required extensive repairs.. Which was a good thing. Three years ago the rooms desperately needed updating, the were bordering on shabby. But the new furniture is so poorly made that it is already needing repairs. Its a shame because the location is so good. We ordered orange juice for breakfast and were served a plastic bottle of juice you would find in a vending machine with no glass. In Florida???

Food at restaurants on site were great. I loved the fact that this place had everything I needed in house. The rooms were clean however you could hear the people next door. We were next to a noisy person who yelled at their kids often. We loved that they had music playing so that didn’t bother us when we sat on the balcony. This is definitely a place of you like action. If you are looking for a place to just relax in quiet space maybe look elsewhere. We will definitely be coming back next year.

Advertised as ocean view. Palm trees blocked more than half the view. 2nd night no AC. Car hood damaged in handicap space by someone sitting heavy object on it and sliding it off.
