Good value for what we paid. Unit was clean and tidy with plenty of room, bathroom area exceptional. Bonus was one of their dogs, coming to the door and wanting to play throw with the stick or stone.

Amazing views and comfort

Fantastic spacious rooms with plush carpet and well equiped kitchen. Couch was huge and comfy. Beds comfortable with beautiful large windows, mountain and hill views. Easy access to glacier lookout and lake.

Best motel in Fox Glacier

This is an amazing motel. We always stay here. It’s super clean, modernized, fabulous view and great people. On top of that it’s dog friendly. Very underrated. You won’t regret staying here.

We liked that the motel is near the town centre so getting our daily supplies was easy and is also nearer to Lake Matheson. The motel is a little dated which is understandable based on the value we got from the stay. There were 2 guard dogs (one black and one brown) that roam around the motel. The doggos were adorable and well-trained. Some visitors may not be comfortable with the dogs but we were fine with their company.

Nice kitchen and good view of Mount Cook from the motel! We were greeted by a horse when we arrived. Clean, quiet, and a good heating system, which kept us warm indoors during a cold autumn day.
