I like staying in older motels that are privately owned, I appreciate the owners who keep these properties cute & updated & well maintained. One site said this was a "boutique" motel, it was the opposite. Very "worn," old mismatched furniture & kitchenware, the particleboard cabinet doors had not only the paint worn off but the doors themselves with no handles were worn, had to put a paper towel on the door because it was so worn it creeped me out.

There is no air conditioning or heater in the unit. The pillows and bed sheets are old and worn. Unit D is located right next to the street, making it extremely noisy both day and night. Overall, it was very uncomfortable. Do not book this place - find somewhere else.

We stayed in a suite this time. It was roomy and met our needs perfectly. We could walk to Main street for shopping and dinner. It was quiet and relaxing. The room has a porch with chairs for chilling.

Based on the cost and level of friendliness, this is a 5 star stay. The bed might creek and you could run out of hot water if you run it too long, but you will not regret your stay. Lovely people!
