Would be helpful to purchase new and improved mattresses. Our room had a sink that needs liquid plumber. The cover on the outside air conditioner unit is broken and pieces on the balcony is a bad look. Overall a great stay. Would highly recommend this resort. Staff very nice and helpful.😃

What I didn’t like was there was no clear signs for the hotel registration. Also I paid extra to have a room with a balcony. I had to clean the entire frame of the sliding door, the chairs, the light outside the screen. I had to do my best because there were bugs all over. I couldn’t hardly open and close the sliding door. Maintenance did come up and sprayed Something like WD-40. We were told on a Wednesday night by registration that the pools closed at seven later found out the inside pool closed at nine. Luckily I was talking to a guest. The following day we thought the inside pool closed at nine and then found out that they closed at seven on a Thursday night. Very disappointed in the lack of hours for the indoor and outdoor pools. The outdoor pool is extremely small. I was surprised that the price is competitive with the other water parks, considering how much smaller this waterpark is.

In general liked staying at Chula Vista. While our room was clean, it is a bit worn out looking. There was a cup full of watery, smelly cigarette butts on the balcony along with a bit of paper trash. However, we enjoyed having the outdoor space with the beautiful view of the river. It was nice to have some pool options since the weather was hot. Just wish there was a larger outdoor pool for hanging out at. We also enjoyed the onsite golf course.

Our Dells Vacation

We enjoyed our stay very much! Our river view balcony was great with the huge trees all around us! The staff was very friendly and helpful Great bar and restaurants, you don’t really need to leave. There’s too much to do on only a 2 night 3 day stay. Navi Spa topped the stay off

The door of the bathroom in the room didn't lock, staff at the water park wasn't friendly. They charge cleaning but never clean. We needed a plunger and we had to wait for more than an hour to get it. Some attractions were closed, etc. They charge a lot of money and don't have everything in order. Next time we will go to a different one.

The complex is a maze, and so are the parking lots. Prepare to be lost and confused. Door needed to be slammed shut to latch; TP holder was on the floor, broken. $127 in fees after you book your room. So it isn’t a bargain—just pay extra (upfront! Not sneaky fees!) and stay where you really wanted.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Chula Vista Resort. The room was spacious and comfortable, perfectly suited for a family of 5. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast — it was absolutely delicious with a wide variety of options to satisfy everyone. The service stood out as well. Every staff member we interacted with was polite, friendly, and genuinely attentive, which made our stay feel that much more welcoming. The resort is located in a peaceful and quiet area, offering a great escape from the busier parts of Wisconsin Dells while still being close enough to enjoy all the attractions. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Chula Vista Resort to families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

A bit outdated and very short staffed. However, great parking, quiet, not overly crowded. It was nice to go to a waterpark and find plenty of seating and not tons of people. Service for drinks or food was very slow. Staff was somewhat unfriendly, not mean but not concerned or attentive. Carpets in the hotel need a major cleaning. Very very dirty. 3 stars, has pros and cons. Undecided if we will be back again.

Descent start…can be better like 30 years ago

I stayed here when they first opened, 30 years ago! But the experience this time was disappointing. The customer service was slow and they didn’t even have reception at their front desk at times. Long wait to be seated for the buffet and food wasn’t that good. Too many parks, but the towels are too small to last all day. Needs some remodeling. Overall, a good hotel to start off the Dells experience and water attractions great for kids. Oh and make sure to ask for room cleaning service everyday when you arrive or they won’t provide this until you leave.

Place was pretty decent. Water park was decent and wasn’t too crowded. A lot of loose dogs and smoking all over at every exit and doorway. Parking was almost non existent
