Great hotel for the price

Our first room was dirty but they moved us instantly to something new when I brought it up. The staff was super friendly and the location was great for it being a college town. I would definitely stay again if I’m visiting Gainesville. The breakfast was done by the time I went down but what I ate was ok.

Dirty rooms

We checked in late and already unpacked everything and when about to go to bed, we pulled back the covers and there was a very large stain on the top sheet. I removed it and went to the front desk to get a new sheet. No working ice machines. Large fecal residue in the toilet.

Damp, inconveniently located outlets

Room was constantly humid and damp. Outlets are not in convenient locations for chargers, towels stayed wet all day even when hung up. Sheets, towels and room weren't the cleanest. Pro is that It's 10 mini from UF campus

The beds were comfortable and things were clean but the cleaning solutions made it too smelly. The breakfast was so bad we decided to eat someplace else. There were no hot plate items (eggs, sausage, etc) They had a place for them but did not have any amd I couldn't find a single staff mber to ask. The OJ was not working. There was no creamer for coffee. They had 3 apples for fruit.

Cockroach

The floor was dirty and sticky. A cockroach climbed my wife’s feet, she got crazy and terrified since she hates cockroaches. There was a cream bottle on the floor, so it proves that the floor was not cleaned previous our stay.

Horrible. The beds were filthy. Looked like someone had worn shoes and peed on the sheets and blankets. The floor was sticky and had baby bugs. You could tell that things like the phone were never cleaned. Breakfast wasn't much better. Waffel batter was sour. Understaffed and rude. Expedia helped me get some money back but now I have to go through my bank to get my deposit back from the hotel.
