Our stay at Lefevre Inn was a lovely time! The bed was very comfy and the check-in process was super easy. We did notice some lighting/electrical problems (the lights randomly would turn on in the bathroom and lights would flicker), but other than that it was great!

My wife and I decided to spend our 23rd wedding anniversary in Galena. We haven’t been to the area since middle school for field trips/school ski trips etc. we live about 2.5 hours away so it was a nice scenic drive. We booked a cottage at the LeFevre resort and it did not disappoint. Everything was exactly as described. Was pleasantly surprised that there was actually a wood burning fireplace as that was a dealbreaker. The jetted tub was also a necessity and it was perfect. Great scenery and a wonderful staff made the stay a weekend to remember. Hoping to bring the entire family back if possible and will definitely stay here again!

We chose this property because we were skiing at Chestnut Mountain, and the location was great. The cottage was very unique and worked great for our family. We did have some issues getting hot water for more than one shower/bath, and the whirlpool in the unit needs to be cleaned, but overall it was a good stay. The wood burning fireplace was a nice surprise as well.

So close to shopping but far enough away

This place was very nice. Due to the time of year (December) and days I stayed (M-W), I may have been the only guest on the property at least one day. The staff were nice as well. The view from my room was amazing! Some snow came and it was even prettier. I can only imagine how summer views are. I didn't try the free breakfast, so I can't say how it was. My room was perfect and very clean. The fireplace was a bonus for me. Galena is hills and valleys, so if you visit in winter, be careful driving on those hills. Just saying... I've already recommended this inn to my sister and friends.

This time around was not as pleasant as year before We had trouble with our tv, cable, And last night our heater broke and room was at 64 degrees There was lots of ladybug and other insects Inside our room Next time will request sunset view site not the back
