Nice place. Don't trust the valet service company.

The staff and place were very friendly. It is a unique hotel in a stylish area of the island. We had only one issue while there, but it hurt our view of the trip and hotel. One of our cars had the window broken out, and the car went through overnight. The car was in the hands of the valet service the whole time. When they notified us that morning when we asked for the vehicle, they stated that the valet company insurance would cover the issue. WELL, that was wrong. The valet company returned and said they were not responsible since they don't park the cars in an area with security or cameras. The whole point of valeting my car overnight was to keep it safe. Grand Hotel and staff. Don't believe your car is safe with the valet.

We loved our stay at the Tremont. We were there to board a cruise ship the next day. Everyone was exceptional! We got extra special attention especially with my Mom who uses a walker! The elevator to the sidewalk was perfect. Lori gave us a private tour and Jarvis was so attentive to my mom. Thank you for a very memorable time in Galveston!

The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and very friendly. Hillary sent robes to our room and helped us with Bandaids when I had fallen. Incredible hospitality that it made up for the lack of sound proofing in the room.

Check in was stellar. Bar was phenomenal. At breakfast coffee staff seemed overwhelmed. Check out was stiff. Super clean. Parking was a challenge due to Mardi Gras and hotel didnt seem concerned or offer much support in this area. Bar tender made up for it. Clean fresh and comfortable room. Don't let your staff become complacent...some attitude noted this time that I havent experienced in the past.

The Tremont is a beautiful hotel but by the elevators the strong odor of skunk was overwhelming. It was so bad it made out clothes smell the same.
