It is well known that Australians are pretty chilled, so consider extending your stay and check out the Bridge of the Americas and Miraflores Locks, which you'll find in Panama City, 25 kilometres to the southeast of Gamboa. Before you head home from Panama, make sure you catch some sport. Visit Estadio Rommel Fernandez to the east of Gamboa. The The Westin Panama and the Courtyard Panama at Metromall Mall are both good options if you hope to really get into your sport.

Marcos A. Gelabert International Airport is the most used airport for arriving in Gamboa and is 25 kilometres drive from the centre of town. If you choose to stay nearby, try the The Canal House or the American Trade Hotel.
