The hotel is nice, the pool and game room area are nice. I somehow did not see that it is considered a “resort” and you are charged an additional $15 per day that you stay. They do offer binoculars and a walking stick and fire pits through out the property. The thing that really upset me was we showed up early. We had a sick kid and was going to see if we could get a room so he could sleep. The bearded man at the counter did not welcome us or anything. He immediately barked, “if you are trying to check in early we can’t accommodate that”. He was rude and had no customer service skills. The next morning when I went down for coffee I overheard the cleaning lady asking which rooms she could get started in, which confirms for me that the bearded man just didn’t want to mess with us. Don’t tell me there wasn’t a single room ready to go. There was another lady at the counter that was overly loud and obnoxious. The hotel itself is nice but I will not stay here again because of how we were treated.

Great mountain views from the sweet upper deck on the Jim Bridget cabins! Well stocked, comfy bed, walkable location, wonderful fire pits for evening relaxing! We would definitely stay here again.

We arrived 30 minutes before check-in and our room wasn't ready so we came back in a half hour. In that time they had checked someone else into our room. We had booked a king with a mountain view and ended up in a queen with a view of a concrete wall.

This was our favorite hotel out of the 5 we stayed in, during our Yellowstone family vacation, although the most expensive, it was definitely worth it. You pay a $30 per night per room amenity fee which covers nightly smores, bike rentals, free laundry, hot tub/indoor pool, and a game room. The staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms very clean. We had a room facing the Yellowstone River which had a fabulous view of the park. The elk came right through the property one night. We had our 87 yo dad with us, and I neglected to request a ground level room since there are no elevators and they accommodated a room change. no breakfast but there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

What a great unique stay. 100% recommend upgrading to the river view if it is available. Big room very close to the north Yellowstone stone entrance. 10/10 would recommend and would visit again. Also, if you like seeing elk up close there are many that frequent the property

I have stayed at Ridgeline many times. I like the mountain view and the staff is always great. The curtain rod in my room (207) was broken and I was unable to completly close the inner drapes. The outer drapes would not close at all. It would have been a major privacy issue if I didn't have a room on the 2nd floor. Also, the non stick pads in the bathtub are coming up. No elevator made it hard to get my luggage up the stairs. I usually travel alone and I'm not a young person, so not having a elevator is difficult. I definitely prefer a hotel with an elevator and that may influence my future decision of whether to stay at Ridgeline again. Parking lot is large but fills up fast. I have a large SUV and whoever parked in the middle of the lot parked too close to my vehicle, which made it VERY hard to back out. The property location is great and its a good place to stay, but it is starting to look a little ragged and definitely needs some upgrades or repairs.

This hotel had plenty of amenities for families - bikes, pool, hot tub, s'mores, etc. We didn't take advantage of much of them - but it was a quiet and comfortable place to stay near to the North entrance of Yellowstone. Would happily stay again, if we are fortunate enough to return to this area.

This place was amazing. The views, the staff, the free laundry and detergent, free smores kits for the fire pit, the free bikes to ride around, the elk walking around in the evening….it was all wonderful.

We would definitely stay there again on our next Yellowstone adventure. We had a amazing river veiw room and a mountain backdrop to die for. What really made our stay was all the little thing they provided for your stay. The indoor swimming pool and game room provided great family time, an outdoor fire and smoore kits were provided to roast marshmallows. They have bikes to use and we had a nice ride around Gardner. I highly recommend this hotel and will suggest The Ridgeline to anyone looking for a getaway around Yellowstone.

Great place to stay

Staff here is excellent, located in a nice spot, rooms are spacious. They have a fire pit that they give you s'mores to make. They give you recyclable water bottles on check in. Comfortable beds, big showers. Great overall just one issue I had was my room smelled horrible. I could smell urine possibly the people prior has pets that peed in the room. We had to use alot of air freshener everytime we walked in the room.
