Overall, my stay was average, but the standout was the Scottish gentleman Alan, who works there. He was fabulous in providing info about the hotel, the surrounding area, great hikes, and other sightseeing areas. He was professional and very friendly!!! I would rate him a 6 out of 5 stars! Above and beyond!!

Past its prime.

The Hotel Garibaldi got a lot of hype online so I booked it over a couple of places that looked better. It didn’t take long for the buzz to fade. The elevator was defunct. The road in front of the property was under construction with heavy equipment and people shouting at 6am. The room was small. The bathroom was so tiny that the door hit the sink whe less than half open. The tv was miniscule. The halls were loud. The grounds were run down and shopworn. At least the staff were polite. I would NOT recommend the Hotel Garibaldi.

Looked like they were understaffed. Had to wait in a line for about 10 minutes. Elevator wasn't working. Otherwise, the staff did their best to serve their customers.

Room was clean but smelled musty and like cigarettes. Saw some ashes on the table. Supposed to be non-smoking. Guess yiu cant control rude guessed that dobt follow the rules. Quiet hotel, good pool and hot tub. Sauna and elevator not working.

The hotel is nice. Very friendly staff. Indoor pool available if you are into it. The elevator was broken, which is a shame because it is the lobby's main feature. Right in the middle of town, and probably the best place to stay. Having said that, this is not a 5 star hotel, and construction (not their fault) was going around town and it was very inconvenient.

We really enjoyed the indoor hot tub and pool. What was that was that there was this ugly construction in the front of the property and really not a very good view of the lake and the elevator was broken.

Great hotel for families, very convenient location. Breakfast was great, the kids loved it. The pool was great and perfect for all ages since the deepest spot was a little over 4ft. I was bummed the sauna was out of order but not a big deal. The rooms needed more wash cloths and hand towels, but we made it work. The kids said the cookies in the lobby were the best they ever had!

Staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful! The chocolate chip cookies were delicious and a nice touch! Room was a little dated but very clean and comfortable. Easy walking distance to a great restaurant at the marina. Would definitely recommend!
