The cabin had a very bad musty and damp smell to it had to burn candles to try to get the smell out but it didn't help. Floors were uneven and not suitable for people with disabilities which my husband has. The location was nice tho it wss convenient to everything

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the cabin, it exceeded our expectations. We loved the location. It was close to all our planned activities in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Especially sitting on the large screened-in porch listening to the creek. The kids loved playing in the creek. We will come and stay again. The kids were planning our return on our trip home.

Very nice

We loved the uniqueness of the house. It could have been a little cleaner. And the bathroom with the blue tile the picture does not show how deep that shower. We were traveling with seniors so it was not usable for us. We loved sitting on the porch and listening to the creek.

Spacious near Gatlinburg

There was plenty of space for my family to relax between our day trips into Gatlinburg. It was nice to have bathrooms adjoined to each bedroom. It was easy to relax in the living room with all the couches.

Beautiful Location

The property was absolutely beautiful and the creek was a soothing experience. The house was in need of some repairs especially a lot of the faucet knobs and the bathroom with the stone sink drains very slow and there is also a musty smell. There also was an issue with spiders. Overall we enjoyed our stay as we were not at the house often, other than the evenings.

Peaceful

This property is located away from the noise of the downtown area. It is just as described. The only drawback/plus was lack of phone service. If you want to unplug and relax, this is the place. Sitting on the front porch you can listen to the birds sing and the water running, watch the squirrels play, or read your favorite book. Enjoyable stay.

Family Trip for Elderly Parents

We stayed three nights in this rustic cabin. Three bedroom was perfect us, my mom and his dad. Everyone has private bathroom . The location is convenient to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The porch was welcoming and peaceful with the running creek outside. It is older so don’t expect top notch decor or anything. It worked for us to enjoy this trip for each of your widowed parents, my mom and my husbands dad. Easy access from lots of doors for them. No complaints to give just recommendations to the rental company. Nothing we couldn’t deal with. We would stay again based on charm , scenery and location and proximity to attractions and restaurants.

Great for a family vacation

We had a great time and loved the area and the cabin, especially the front porch. We found it to be well supplied and checking in was easy with a keypad lock. Our only criticism is that the beds were a little old, so those of us with back issues had some trouble but in general everything was great!

Rustic Charm

What a great cabin. We loved the location, the local wildlife (bear visitors every day) and the front porch. The fishing was top notch in the creek across the road. We hope to come again really soon! It was a fantastic location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Family Getaway

The place is what it is but there are severe maintenance issues with many areas of the property. Electrical outlets non functional or so worn out they will not hold anything you plug in. The light in the shower flickered the whole time I showered each time, hoping I would not be shocked. Some of the doors especially the one off of the screen porch were half operational unless u lifted up on it. TV in the living room has images burned into the screen. The list goes on and on. You can tell that maintenance has been ignored for a long period of time especially on the outside in non visible areas away from the street. The room my stayer slept in the comforter and pillows smelled of sweat and we had to launder them prior to her sleeping on the bed.

Great accommodations, beautiful area, friendly staff, a wonderful place to get away. Stocked trout stream a stones throw away. 120 year old cabin is full of charm and a great place to bring the whole family. Fully stocked kitchen for making a simple meal, or a full blown holiday feast. Staff went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience.
