Less than a 10 minute drive from the beach. The property is located in a residential neighborhood with limited parkig. However, the property is beautiful, the staff is amazing and the make to order breakfast was awesome. My wife and I relaxed in the courtyard late into the night and ate an amazing breakfast in the morning. A great place in a great location. Wr plan on returning soon.

Always enjoy staying at the Black Dolphin Inn, the Staff and the Manager is always nice and Friendly and the Breakfast every Morning is always on point. I try to stay there every chance I get.

We did not get the specific room that we booked thru Expedia based on specific room pictures. We also had to stay in 1 room first night, then change rooms for the second night as there seemed to be communication issue between Expedia and the Black Dolphin Inn

A wonderful stay

We enjoyed a one night stay at this beautiful Inn. The staff were great and welcoming. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was eggs with avocado toast and it was delicious. A short drive to downtown Canal Street and Flagler Beach. Highly recommend staying here.

For us a perfect size, about 10 units, very well kept- friendly service- and a home like atmosphere. Bed was comfortable, and room very quiet. NIce view from all rooms. The breakfast was excellent. All in all a very good value

We stumbled upon this place while driving up to New Smyrna Beach and let me tell you we are SO happy we did. This place was excellent in all areas. The design and decorations were top tier and the location is perfect. We will most definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Loved every thing . I can’t say anything negative about this place. It was so wonderful, but if I had to make a suggestion, I would take those little refrigerators and take them out of the closet so that there’s enough room to hang your clothes. Just a suggestion.

An Elegant Inn

We knew nothing about New Smyrna or the Black Dophin when we booked our trip for a week. What a pleasant surprise. The Inn is facing the gorgeous bay with views of handsome sailboats as the sun comes up. You can have your delicious, daily varied breakfasts brought to your room, but there are very pleasant areas to sit outside in the courtyard or on the front porch. The breakfast chefs are outstanding and Jennifer is always available to help in any way. She found that we had left pills behind and she kindly sent them to us on her own by Fedex. Taylor was an exceptionally genial host, who went out of his way to make sure we were happy. The Inn is a real gem, with plentiful parking, and easy access to the beach, boat tours, and the many historical curiosities of New Smyrna.
