The rooms were very dated and felt a little dingy. Though the biggest complaint is the rampant drug use right outside of the property. We saw open dealing and usage which made me and my female companion feel extremely unsafe. We walked the long away around from the hotel to avoid certain roads because they were doing drugs. And mind you this was during daylight and in several areas near the hotel walking to city centre. We had to walk down sketchy roads to get to the high street and on every turn there was driving and drug use.

I paid £200 for 2 nights at this lovely hotel and it was 100% value for money. I booked what I believe was a small double, but somehow ended up in a huge and extremely comfort room. I can only assume this was an upgrade, which I was very grateful for as I was down to run a half marathon! The robe and slippers in the room were also a nice touch. Every single member of staff I encountered during my stay was extremely friendly and polite. It reminded me of the level of hospitality experienced in hotels pre-covid, and it made the stay as a solo female very relaxing. The bar area was inviting with a nice atmosphere (free drink voucher if you opt out of housekeeping which I thought was a great idea) and the buffet breakfast was just what you would expect from a hotel in this price bracket. The stand out for me was the leisure club. The pool, steam room and jacuzzi were wonderful! Relaxing, clean and quiet - bliss. Although advertised as being open 4-8pm, I was told upon checking in that it would be open for guests from 7am which was a lovely bonus. My only very tiny niggle was how warm the room was, but with an aircon unit and a fan the hotel are clearly doing the best they can in this area. Brilliant experience and I will definitely be returning!

Scott was lovely, getting us at reception. Got to check in early. Rooms are spacious and clean. The mattress could do with replacing as very soft. The AC didn't work - was replaced with a fan in the meantime. Breakfast was Scottish Continental. Decent and everyone one may need is available. Location is convenient for city center and events in the Ovo Hydro

I stayed at this hotel while in Glasgow for a meeting. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The room was well-equipped with a fan, heater and air cooler. The staff were very friendly and helpful. In exchange of no housekeeping service, I also got 2 free drinks token! Location-wise the hotel is only about 5 mins from the airport transfer 500 bus stop, 10 mins from Glasgow central station and 5 mins from the River Clyde. Definitely recommend it and will stay here again if back in Glasgow!

Hotel is perfectly located within walking distance of city center and ovo arena. Room and bathroom clean and comfortable(only issue we had was the iron leaving black marks on my white shirt, thankfully they did wash out). Did not eat in dining area so cannot comment (looked nice though) The pool, and steam room were wonderful and all the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Would come back again.

Great service the minute we got there,stayed in an apartment, it was spacious and very comfortable, the only downside was the small kitchenette was out of order (due to upgrading),was only a microwave and fridge also no running water,had to fill kettle with water from the bathroom tap,which is not ideal,brung food with me to cook but couldn't so was very disappointed with that,

Disappointed with SPA

I booked this hotel , as they had swimming pool, which would be good for myself, and two grandchildren. I then get a message from the hotel 7 days before I arrive, saying that there ration policy, is 1x Adult x1 child. So if you wish to use the spa facilities you can't. I tried to find the policy on website, but I cant find anything regarding the policy. So please be aware

Very friendly and helpful receptionist at check in. Room and bathroom were both a really good size. Massive bed. Great window insulation. My room was very close to the M8 but even standing by the window you couldn't hear any traffic noise. Unfortunately the room wall insulation wasn't as good and I was kept awake two of the four nights I stayed because of people in the next room shouting and making noise until the early hours. The pool area is nice and the gym looked very well equipped.

The hotel room was lovely with a comfortable king-size bed and large bathroom. Most outstanding was the staff. The lady at the front desk who checked us in was professional, friendly, and welcoming. She then went above and beyond to help us get our laundry done before we had to leave the next day. Superb service!
