Overall, I was very pleased with our stay at Grand Summit. We planned a trip to Storyland and the drive home would be too much after a day in the park, so we wanted to stay the night at a local hotel. This resort is only 10 minutes away from Storyland. The room accommodation that we chose was perfect for us. We booked the Deluxe Queen Suite ($50 more than a regular room, and WELL WORTH IT). There was a nice bathroom with two sinks, private bedroom, decent sized living (slightly dated furniture) and small kitchenette (fridge, freezer, stove, microwave). With a toddler, we needed the separate bedroom to put to bed early and still be able to enjoy some parental downtime. There was a little balcony that was nice. The small downsides: I will say there were a few cosmetic blemishes (peeling paint, multiple cobwebs, broken picture frame). Some things like mentioned above were slightly outdated like the sofa/chair, but overall for the accommodations we had, I could easily live with these. We did have a room across from the pool and I was worried about the noise, but it wasn't much more than expected (some "stomping" heard, likely from kids running around, but it wasn't bad). If we needed a hotel to stay at after a Storyland visit, we would definitely stay here again!

The pool and the hot tubs were a huge hit. Also the proximity to North Conway town center and Storyland park were great features. It was our first time here and I’m sure we will come back again for the proximity and great location of this property in the summer and fall months.

Even though checking in late at night we were still greeted warmly and with the best service. Room was clean and comfortable, beds were great. My kid loved the pool.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, they truly went above and beyond. The inside was a little rundown with some dips in the floors and dings in the walls. The pool area needed a little bit of cleaning especially on the plastic that covered the swim in swim out entrance. Also there is no where to refill water. Other than that we had a great stay. The outside of the property is gorgeous and it did look like they were working on maintenance inside. I just think the pricing should be slightly adjusted.

We’ve been coming here for a few years and have always appreciated the clean rooms, spacious layout, and fun pool area. We were disappointed with some of the amenities this trip. Coffee was complimentary one morning but not the next, and food options were very limited. We had planned to have breakfast on-site, only to find the Provisions Café closed indefinitely. Overall, the experience didn’t match the standards we’ve come to expect.

This is our third time staying at this resort. Obviously they do a good job because we keep coming back. Some areas in the room/bathroom could have been a little cleaner. Just minor things like mold starting to grow on the shower ceiling from the moisture and a bar of soap left behind from a previous customer. It was high up so housekeeping could easily miss it. Things happen. But overall we like this location. Especially being in the mountains. It fits the vibe we are always looking for. Thank you for our annual stay.

Room was spacious and clean, tv didn't receive all the channels even though it's cable tv, no cups in the room, the pool was nice and heated, there was a cute little jungle gym/park for the kids at off to the side (wish it was closer to the rest of the hotel's annemeties) but it was set behind the extra parking lots, so we didn't feel safe to stay out after dark with the kids due to poor lighting/visibility and distance from the hotel. Also, there are not many options around and you have to drive to get wherever you're going, but otherwise it is a nice hotel. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable (2 queens).

The hotel was beautiful walking in, and the front desk staff were so friendly. The room was outdated however, and the air conditioning didn’t work. They had a standing fan in the closet we used, but the room was very stuffy.
