The staff was lovely for our late arrival. We stayed here last October when the building was being renovated & nothing changed although this time, we walked into the room for a single night stay & it smelled like a musty locker room. Found out why… the carpet next to the window & AC unit was soak your feet wet - not damp - squishy, leaving your feet too wet to climb into bed which was also wet to damp so clammy all night long. Hard to rest, feeling nasty all night. I really don’t ask for much, but really? First time, shame on you; second time, shame on me. We will likely stay elsewhere when in Stephenville from now on. Sorry, sweet staff!!!

This hotel needs some updates. Hours after checkin we were woke by a knock on the door at 10:40 pm by a manager asking our last name and letting us know he booked us in the wrong room. When we asked if there was a problem he said no he was just verifying. We needed to be up early the next day and had a difficult time falling back to sleep. Very strange when he checked us in, took our drivers license and was the person who assigned our room to us. We wont stay here again. Thank you.

Great service. There were a couple of issues, but the staff rectified things very quickly. I need to dry my daughter’s jeans, but the dryer was broken. The front desk clerk had housekeeping put them in one of their industrial dryers! The milk had gone bad on the breakfast buffet, but the staff was quite apologetic and quickly replaced it once I brought it to their attention. Room was clean and cold. We will definitely be staying there again.

Room was very spartan although the beds were comfortable. Windows were covered with plastic because they were updating the outside. Breakfast was very basic. I didn’t think it was up to my expectations for the price.

The building was under construction but that was kept to a minimum. We had a room with a pull out sofa and when we took the cushions off the sofa, crumbs and trash fell out. Upon getting the sofa bed pulled out there was feces on the mattress. The comforter and sheets on the actual bed were dirty and there were fresh spots on them. I was going to use the phone to reach the front desk but it didn't work.

Perfect location for visiting our daughter at Tarleton State University. Convenient to shopping and dining in town. Staff was very friendly. We’ve stayed here twice, and enjoyed the view. Set off the road just enough to be quiet, but convenient. Will come again!

The check was easy and staff was friendly. However, after checking in I noticed all of the exterior window lacked framing and were exposed to the elements. The elevator and hallways were extremely hot. The fridge sounded like a jet about to take off. Not to mention the dirty carpet with hair all over the bathroom and floors. Very unclean
