Clean rooms, easy to park ( I have a big truck that it’s easy to turn in small parking lots) lots of room to park. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is the indoor pool was colder than outside. My daughter wanted to swim but I couldn’t stay more than 20 minutes because it was 40 degrees in the pool area. My daughter loved it because she stayed in the hot tub the whole time. Lol

Staff is amazing as always, very friendly and always helpful. The facility itself has major signs of wear all over, dead cockroach in my room when checking in, a/c in room incredibly loud, so much so that I had to turn it off to sleep. All over the hotel needs major renovations. After finding the dead cockroach I had to Lysol the entire room wipe everything with Clorox wipes, which also proved the bathroom wasn’t cleaned at all. We have stayed here for years when coming to Glen Rose and sadly this will probably be the last time.

Nice property to stay at while visiting the dinosaur park. The rooms were comfortable, basic, but nice. Friendly staff. The indoor pool was nice for the boys in our party (6 and 8 yo). Being November, it would have been too cold anywhere else with an outdoor pool. Would stay here again.

Room smelled like mildew as we walked in. Staff was average. Overall the hotel was dated and needed repairs. The bathroom door would not close due to intense moisture issues. There appeared to be ceiling stains repainted. And the vent looked like it had never been cleaned so air flow was poor. Floor was not tiled properly and loose.The ac unit in bedroom was blowing air that did not smell or feel clean. Felt sticky. Closure inspection showed a very dirty filter with possible mold. We arrived late, tired and decided to stay the night but cancelled the 2nd night agreeing it was not worth the amount they were charging. Was difficult to sleep and left early without eating. We just wanted out! Hotels xom was very understanding and assisted with the cancelation!

Breakfast was better than most. Eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal, etc… I really wish the hot tub was HOT but didn’t have time to address the issue. Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms! Would stay again. Convenient location. Dog friendly, reasonable rate for dogs to stay. Free parking, free internet. Enjoyed our stay!

Rooms and building are in need of maintenance that look neglected for a couple years. Doors don’t close, door locks don’t work trim around windows and AC units are missing pieces paint is pealing off. Staff was nice but unhelpful. Probably won’t be back.

The moment we walked in the door there was an unpleasant aroma. The room was ok, but the bathroom was rough. The toilet seat wasn’t the right fit for the toilet. Tiles were loose in the floor and holes on the wall from old shower curtain rods. Pool was also dingy and dirty. No lights at night.
