My advice is to “Stay Wise” and DO NOT STAY HERE! I have stayed in thousands of hotels around the world as my job requires a lot of travel. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. There was blood on the walls, food stains on the floor, and the beds were ancient and made so much noise that even turning over woke up anyone else in the room. The sheets and towels were tattered. The air conditioner/heater made a variety of strange noises—also making sleep very difficult. The tub made all kinds of cracking and creaking noises as if you were about to fall through the floor—and we later found out from some local friends that the hotel had some serious water damage a few years ago, which apparently wasn’t fixed completely. The wood below the shower must have been rotted out. I have no idea how this hotel has received so many rave reviews. See my Google review for more information about our stay. I cannot recommend this hotel at all. In fact, I would warn anyone thinking of reserving a room here to seriously think about going to a better hotel in Montrose or Grand Junction. Trust me, you will sleep way better elsewhere.

Nice small town hotel. Staff was friendly! Had an issue with the heater in one room so we were switched with no problem. Nice to see Deer roaming around the property like they are guests as well. Keep the toilet paper at whole roll!

Great place to stay. We love Cedaredge. The room was great and clean. The beds were comfortable. The pillows were to stiff to our liking but that’s it. Enjoyed our stay.

PRO: AC worked fine. Room was clean. Fridge worked. Good made to order omelette for Bfast. Bfast lady was hard-working, and pleasant. Con: Older, few outlets in room, carpet was wrinkled, no bar soap. body wash was cheap, gritty, and didn't lather. Light over nightstand did not work, towels were small and thin. Dog walk area had 5 inch tall grass/weeds. Overall: Ok place to stay for a night, kind of a remote area with few choices.

This is an older property that piece by piece they are upgrading. Our room was clean, shower worked well and the A/C worked, which are our 3 biggest items. A decent cup of coffee would have been good (pretty meh), but have learned to bring our own. Furniture and bedding were in good condition and clean. Bed is getting tired and a bit soft, but overall it was fine. Nice pillow selection! This is not new and fancy, but we did not pay a new and fancy price. Overall, we would stay again.

It seems like this place hasn’t had money to update at all. The mattress was horrible, the shower faucet was probably from the dollar store, towels had stains. In order to plug my phone in to charge I had to move the night stand, unplug the alarm clock, and then plug into the extension cord. It is 2024, most hotels and motels have lamps with USB built in. I travel quite a bit, and this place had me thinking I was roughing it in a cabin in the woods.
