My air conditioning quit at around 1230 pm and woke up sweaty . Asked to change rooms and the desk person was confused 😕 . I dont need the same room i paid for , just one with working air . They accommodated but gave me no room key ? I never really got back to sleep after that but atleast i was comfortable 😅

The unit overlooked a dumpster. We didnt mind being in the pet specific area with our service dog but the room was filthy when we arrived with hair on the floor and all over the bathroom. It was very disappointing.

Came from Fruita, CO for my husband’s birthday Check in was great. We arrived to the hotel an hour and. A half early and were allowed to check in. Room was a bit smaller than we are used to. Shower/toilet area was very small. Separate handwashing area which I do not like, but a lot of people do. Water pressure was horrible. Water got way hot. Which is good for some people, but not so good for people with kids! Safe was available, robes were there to use or purchase, fridge and Keurig. Everything was fairly clean. There had been coffee spilt on the Kcups that was not cleaned or exchanged. Our biggest problem was the AC. It was fairly warm the day we were there. Horrible nights sleep. The AC would make a loud sound when shutting off or turning on that sounded like someone was entering the room. So we were woken all throughout the night. We checked in, showered, then headed to the Vaudeville show. We weren't in the room long enough to hear the AC issue. We did inform front desk manager at check out. He said he would look into it. We won’t be staying again because for the price we paid we expected a good night sleep.

The room you pick and pay for may not be the one that you are given when you get to the hotel. It’s a crap shoot, but it’s a nice location even though you’re charges $20 a night to park. Seems out of step with Glenwood Springs.

This hotel is vintage. There is so much history in the hotel, making it fun and unique. We were glad to stay here. Our room was clean, beautiful, and spacious. The water doesn’t get very warm, but it still was enough. We would stay here again.

Did my online research.. This is a perfect hotel. Right across the street from Train Station. Never noticed the trains go by. Regular rooms looked small. Got a King bed suite. Plenty of room. Bath was small which was only downfall of hotel. Onsite Brewpub was great. Food and beer did not disappoint. Very walkable to over a dozen lunch/dinner restaurants. Glenwood Springs has an Awesome ride share program for $2.00 anywhere in town. Iron mountain spa was definitely worth the trip

The check in was not a great start. There was one gentleman working, several people in line and the phone was ringing off the hook. Definitely understaffed for the level of people checking in and making reservations. This hotel has some of the hardest beds I have ever laid in. The hardwood floor might have been softer with a sheet and a pillow.

I was expecting a Mountain View since I paid extra for Mountain View If I looked around the apartment building I could kind of see a mountain. Parking is also a nightmare here. The building and staff are very nice though
