I found the Baymont in Gaylord to be a Very Good hotel. The room was nicely equipped, Very Clean, quite, and affordably priced. The desk manager, Michelle I think her name is, was so pleasant making me feel that I made a good choice right upon arrival. Overall, the accommodations, staff, price, and proximity to the freeway, Fully Met my Expectations and I would highly recommend the Baymont by Wyndham Gaylord as well as stay there again in future travels to that area. Thanks!!

Tiniest room ever. Very used spring mattress. Hotel felt very rundown and could have been cleaner. Fire alarm went off twice in the middle of the night unnecessarily. Air conditioning didn’t work. Staff was nice.

We had to check out only an hour after we checked in as we no longer felt comfortable at the property. Within 20 minutes of checking in, the fire alarms starting going off. They alarmed at least 6 times. When we checked with the front desk, they said their maintenance man was checking it out. When we asked the maintenance man if the alarm was malfunctioning or if there was cause for alarm, he stated that the alarm could be "real". We moved everything out of our room and sat on the lawn for close to an hour. Each time we checked on whether or not the property was clear, they said "it should be?" but we never got confirmation of a safe and all clear. We asked if they contacted the fire department to ensure that the property was safe and they stated "No, the maintenance man would be checking it out". Because we were travelling with children, we made the decision to leave. We asked the front desk about a possible refund and they said that they didn't think we could get one. As Wyndham Club and Rewards members, we were extremely frustrated and disappointed in this property and will never stay here again.

The property appeared clean but is very outdated and worn down looking, especially the lobby area where first impressions are made. It was also very noisy in our room, it seems like the rooms were not well insulated for sound. All in all the staff was friendly, the breakfast area was adequate and the price was right for a quick overnight stay.

There was nothing really to like breakfast was cold.You had to heat everything Hallways reeked of garbage and I mean like Maggots rated trash it's disgusting Cigarette butts everywhere outside garbage everywhere outside Black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in.!!!!!

Had an excellent experience T this property. Quiet, safe, clean, friendly employees, 24H coffee and tea available, great breakfast selection. $25 dog fee and reasonable room rate. I would definitely stay again.

Window was open when arrived in the suite and killed several insects in the room. The bathroom ceiling has old water damage and mold formation on the ceiling.
