Most of our trip we’re staying with friends and family, but this one night we needed a place to “crash” after a long day on planes and on the road. Monument Mountain was perfect. Old school “motor hotel”: Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable, with pleasant gentleman at check-in.

Very convenient and we were happy that the little restaurant we'd chosen for dinner was right across the street (we drove anyway, as it's a busy street).

As I stated, it was okay for one night only. My daughter booked it for just one night. Looking out the window, I saw the Hampton Inn across the way in the back of the property which is usually where I stay.
