See my other reviews, even though I was a frequent customer and always received my confirmations before they changed email address and it went to my junk mail. Early on I tried to cancel the reservation but I could not find one. Looked in my email. There was no email for confirmation. They decided it would be a great idea to bill me for five nights for a trip that I did not even make. I can understand one night, even though it was not my fault, but all five nights is just unethical.

This was a five star review, but since they ripped me off six weeks later, it’s a one star review unethical. I made a reservation, never received a confirmation that I could find and I could not find a booking under my hotels.com account wound up not even going on that trip. It was five nights. Even though I’m a frequent customer there And stayed over 20 nights there this year. They saw it fitting to not only Bill me for the first night. They build me for all five nights of the trip that I do not even go on. They were not even remotely busy those nights because the rooms were plentiful.

There was no stay. I booked a room 11/25, 5min later I verified to see if the booking went through and it appeared that it had not? I looked under trips and there was nothing there. I checked my emails. There was nothing there. I had stayed at this property numerous times I never had an issue with receiving email. Somehow it went into my junk mail even though I did not direct that to happen. Wound up not even going on that particular trip. Never heard a word from them except for email that went to my junk. After my stay would’ve been completed 5 nights I received a receipt from them it did not go to my junk mail. I checked and the addresses are totally different. So why they went to junk mail I have no idea. hotels.com contacted the red roof Inn Cloverdale on my behalf and even though I never checked in, they billed me for all five nights. I have stayed about 10 nights or more there this year plus this would’ve been another five. My brothers have stayed several other nights as well as my sister and sisters in law who all stayed on separate occasions numerous nights. I hope it was well worth it to rip me off as you’ll never see another dime of our money again. hotels.com contacted them on my behalf and they just said tough turkey. You were a no-show. You would think a frequent visitor who did not show up. Gave five stars every visit thatYou would check with them? If they did not show up to check in, I could see billing them for one night, but billing 5? Unethical
The room was in good condition and very clean. But the check-in process makes me not want to stay there again. I arrived late at night as a solo female traveler, and check-in felt sketchy. The front desk was dark and closed, with a sign saying to go to a kiosk. I checked in with a guy by video at the kiosk. He said there was someone on site despite no staff anywhere. There was a random guy hanging out in the lobby behind me that seemed to be sleeping on the sofa, which didn’t instill much confidence, especially with the feeling that no one was manning the lobby. I would have left for another place if it weren’t so late and I was so exhausted. But it didn’t feel like the safest environment.
