There seemed to be a lot of cut backs to save money. The guy that checked us in was friendly and helpful. The younger night auditor relieving him didn’t seem to care to help us at all. Our key cards rarely ever worked and no solutions were really given, just new keys each time and “try to swipe it really fast”. Breakfast had zero options for dietary restrictions like gluten or dairy free. At least Cheerios offer a gluten free solution. The tea bags were offered in the lobby yet no hot water to make the tea. That was odd to me. Upon check out no one came to the desk to check to see if we needed anything (we stood there a while and I could hear the manager in the office). I am a hotel manager myself. I can still hold meetings and do my work and check the front desk if guests need anything. It’s customer service and should come standard.
