Over all, in a tight situation it worked. But i won't book there again. We couldn't check in on time due to being short staffed. When we did get to checkin. The room smelled of urine! Which could have been from a animal or human. They are animal friendly but do not have established rooms for animals. The bed sheets look like had not been washed due to some stains and being really wrinkled. Looked like they juat remade the bed after the previous tenants had left. The bathroom was not clean either. Long hair still in the shower along with urine stains and pubic hair around the base of the toilet as well. When trying to sleep. The walls are extremely thin. You can hear everything! From people up stairs running around to noises on the back wall. I did get a glimpse and it look like the whole mechanical and wash room was behind the rooms from a employee door. The pool was running but apparently the hot tub has been broken for awhile. We couldn't have and drinks or food around the pool. Not even a water bottle. All in all, like i said did the job! Will gladly pay more for better arrangements next time!

This was such a dirty place. The shower had hair all over, there was used toilet paper pieces on the floor by the toilet. Unfortunately we dropped our things off in the room and didn’t come back and the office was closed. When I call the hotel they told me I had to call back in 2 days when a manager was there. Do not stay at this hotel

Was a quick night in town was worried about dead bolt not working .. the staff did give us a $10. Off total bill offered to switch rooms but it was already 930 pm and the girls were already in bed

I stay there for the price during the winter but it’s falling apart beds are not very comfortable and bathroom doors have holes in them. But you get what you pay for. They charge way too much during the summer for the condition of the rooms.

🌊 Motel Vibes in Brookings — Surprisingly Stoked! 🏄‍♀️ Okay, so I wasn’t expecting much, but this place actually had me impressed, bro. First off made here before and it used to need paint have a lot ono carpet. No carpet now win! No weird old carpet sprinkle smell mystery fuzz, just clean, solid floors that made the room feel way fresher than most coastal spots. 🙌 The bathroom was super clean, even if a little rusty in spots but come on, it’s the coast, that’s just part of the salt life. Beds were a tad firm for this sea turtle’s liking, but they gave extra pillows which totally helped keep my body feelin’ supported. TV channels? Pretty solid. Plus, way quieter than most motels I’ve stayed in. Major shoutout for putting the smoking area in the middle of the lot no clouds creeping into the rooms. Respect. 👏 Front desk crew? Chill, friendly, and super polite. No in-room microwave (bummer if you’re hangry late-night), but there’s one up front you can use. Soaps were mid, not gonna lie bring your own. But those makeup remover wipes slapped, even if they did smell like floor cleaner. 😂 Cleanliness? On point. I know how hard it is to keep sand out on the coast, and these folks nailed it. AC worked great with zero weird smells. Clearly well maintained. Only letdown? The listing said hot tub, but it was closed should really update that, dudes. Still, the indoor pool was a nice consolation swim. Final verdict: clean, quiet, well-kept, and I'd totally crash here again. 🌴✌️

Older facility but even so, it was clean, the check in staff was extremely friendly and nice, and overall it was a nice stay; i do wish there was a microwave in the room, but thats ok also!

The property in general was average. The pool was nice even though we didn't use it 😔 The woman at the front desk, Amanda, was pleasant and let is check in early which was very very nice! The room smelled like urine when we first entered. The smell eventually went away after the first night. It was noisy only because of kids. The boy upstairs was body slamming himself for three hours straight. We tried to be understanding since "quiet time" was 10pm. Even after the front desk asked the parents to have him settle down, it still went on for an hour and a half. Luckily it did stop at 10. It was nice for the price and location.
