Hershey Family Favorite

My family loves staying at Tru for our annual Hershey trip. Very clean hotel and rooms, pleasant and friendly staff and a nice breakfast.

This hotel is literally in the middle of no where. There are no stores or restaurants are nearby. You have to drive backroads from Hershey park to get there. It was a weird commute. Most hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, breakfast was okay, and my daughter enjoyed the pool. Not a bad hotel, I just didn't care for the area. It's probably why it was much cheaper compared to other hotels in the area.

Basic in the extreme!! Nothing in the room that was not essential, impossible to get an internet connection. Lobby was packed with people and impossibly loud and trash left behind.

Pleasant 1-Night Stay

Late check-in where didn’t have to wait long; and had room not far from elevator - but wasn't too noisy despite all the athletic kids and parents staying at the hotel. Its nice to have 24 hr coffee and hot water for tea or cocoa as well as the grab and go area. The breakfast area hours are appreciated and it’s standard limited fare.

I found a dead bed bug in one of the beds. The manager Oliva (I believe her name was) immediately helped me changed rooms and offered me half off of my stay. The second was was better but i had the sign off my door for house keeping to come in and clean while I was out. I'm use to house keeping making the bed and taking out the trash but all they did was put pick up some of the towels in the floor byt left the towels on the floor in the bathroom. The staff was nice and this property wasn't filthy like some places i experienced but i was very happy to leave
