We booked this hotel for a few nights after visiting the Luray Caverns. It's a nice location right next to a beautiful university campus. In close proximity to different outdoors activities as well as a variety of places to eat. The lobby of the hotel looks nice and modern. The rooms do look a bit worn out and could use an update. The front desk staff was pleasant. The pool was supposedly heated but it definitely did not feel that way. Taking one star off because the phone in the room wasn't working and trying to reach the front desk from our cellphones was impossible. Had to go downstairs to request extra linen to which the staff was very accommodating but the fact that I needed to actually go to the lobby to reach the staff shouldn't have been the case.

We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was very clean and the check in and out process was quick and efficient. Also the hotels location was awesome. The only thing was the bed was very firm, so for me it was a little uncomfortable but overall would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was very large and spacious. The reception/2nd floor layout was bright an open. It was easy to get into the hotel from the parking deck since it was just a few, short steps away through a covered, outdoor walkway. We only stayed one night, but the staff was very warm, welcoming, and attentive. The restaurant was quiet, comfortable, and the food was tasty.

Not worth it

Good location on campus but that’s about it. If you’re looking for a good night’s sleep, there are better and less expensive options out there. Have been to this hotel a number of times, but they aren’t updating standard comfort items so will no longer stay there. Sheets feel like sandpaper. Bed banged up. Pillows in bad shape.
