As usual, the hotel staff was wonderful. Check in and check out were a breeze! The room itself was great. The bathroom needed some attention-water pressure was nonexistent, the door latch didn't work. Otherwise, everything was great!

Very convenient for visiting JMU and walking to downtown. Was a little noisy but it was very busy weekend. Pillows could be better. Would stay again.

We stayed here while attending Choices / Admitted Students day at JMU. The location was perfect. Staff was kind, knowledgeable and efficient. We even had to adjust our booking at the last minute and they were extremely accommodating. According to Expedia, this is a 3 star hotel, but it felt more like a 4 star to me. We had a great stay.

We were visiting JMU and the hotel couldn’t have been more convenient for that. Right on campus - easy parking and easy walk to town. Beds and linens weren’t terribly comfortable and no amenities like shampoo, etc. Good value.

Appreciate every employee I spoke to during my stay. I don't understand the shower with the open half door that spills moisture onto the floor. I wasn't given enough toilet paper for a two-night stay. The phone didn't work. Couldn't access the laundry area. I cannot stress enough that the food and the people were great, but help was not available when I needed it.

Hotel Madison is the place to stay at JMU

Hotel Madison is a beautiful hotel. If you are going to see JMU, this is the place to stay-it’s practically connected! Parking is super convenient and everyone is very nice. This hotel checks all the boxes.
