The hotel was very nice. We had a deluxe suite with plenty of room, clean and comfortable beds. I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was small but sufficient and clean.

The property seemed nice enough. But my room (407) had a loud plumbing noise going off every 3-4 minutes. I’m sure the room beneath mine was also affected. I turned the water to the toilet off but it didn’t help. It was coming through the wall. Luckily my friend was staying in another room and I had to go there in order to get any sleep. This was ridiculous that they’d give me this room as this is definitely an ongoing problem.

This property is located in a parking lot that has a Hilton and Ramada in it as well as a Cracker Barrel. It’s a convenient location to access James Madison University. However, the location is not scenic or extraordinary by any means. Your rooms are usually facing a concrete jungle. It served its purpose while we were there for one night.

Our room had a roach in it and the room had a terrible smell. For the price of this hotel I expect it to be clean and nice but I was seriously disappointed. Also there is not enough parking for all the guests so you have to park in the other hotels lot and hope it’s not an issue and then walk over to the Microtel. I would not stay here again.
