NOT A FAMILY FRIENDLY HOTEL

This location is not family friendly at all. I was informed that the have a contract with a local chicken farm. So the most room contracted labors for the farm. The farm guest were drinking and littering every where including in the pool area with glass bottles. My wife and kids did not feel safe.

On my drive to the hotel, they called me and asked me if I would mind if upgrading to a room with a king size bed. I agreed, we get there the room was shaby. The bathroom extremely small, the room had ants on top of all that. When checking in I had issues, the woman checking me keep telling me my card wouldn't work. I called my bank they said no problem on my end. After 20 m8ns of going through this with my bank and the woman on the desk. She finally said to me oh the expiration date on the card used to hold the room qas different from the obe I was using. She didn't see this the 15 times we tried using my card.

This room was convenient from Interstate 81 . The price was reasonable, with reasonable prices comes sketchy locations unfortunately. We arrived on Friday night and there seemed to be a gathering of people around the truck selling food plates out of a pickup truck. Saturday the same people were located on four corners of the hotel and chairs appearing to be a hall monitor for a lack of better terms . I think the people live there and not just traveling. Someone was attending to the four corners of the hotel at all times. I just don't know if everything was illegal activity. We did not get any type of room service, when we were gone all day Saturday our trash was not taken out our beds were not made and we had no clean towels. We walked to the office to get clean towels on Saturday night. The front desk clerks were not very attentive and didn't seem to care that nothing had been done in the room during the day on saturday. For the continental breakfast we had to walk to the adjacent Hotel which was probably run by the same company or family . The breakfast was a nice breakfast for Continental. Our hotel room door didn't lock without jiggling it every time . The bathtub in the sink did not drain properly and water would back up Ankle deep during a shower. Behind the bathroom door had what was rust stains or blood stains. Overall the place was a little sketchy and we were a tad bit uncomfortable as two single women traveling.

Think twice and read review.

The room was under construction! A repair had been made but cabinet doors were missing, and microwave was not replaced. There was no chair to sit on. Lighting was poor, room was bare, air conditioning could barely cool the room. No housekeeping ever came to make the bed or change the towels and they roll their laundry carts around loudly waking us up in the morning. I will say the bed was comfortable, sheets were clean as was the bathroom. The room was clean; the staff was friendly so if you just need a place to crash and want to save some money, this is fine.

The pool was nice. The rest of it was just barely adequate. I stayed half the night in one room until 2am then was moved to another since the smoke detector was beeping low battery and no one was available to fix it. The second room was much better that the first room with everything working properly. I paid for a cheap place to stay so I guess I got what I paid for.

Kids loved the Pool.

Thus hotel shares services with a neighboring Microtel hotel, but it worked out well. Kids particularly enjoyed to pool.
