red roof inns hermitage pa needs to be remodeled or renovated, its seen better days, they cant compete with holiday inn, Hampton inn, Comfort suites, etc. the big hotel chains, too bad....
The room smelled bad and the bath tub had not been upkeep for a long time.The hotel was short staff. I will not stay there again. It needs major up grades.
Do not stay here it’s nasty they will put you in a dirty unclean room. Go elsewhere this town is ran down it’s best to stay in Ohio!

A no-frills overnight stay…
I needed a place to stay overnight and booked here for around $70 on a Saturday into Sunday morning. A no-frills place that could use a little work, but check in was easy and the room was clean, The bed was soft and the pillows a bit hard. Shower was excellent (which for me, is all that matters) and the shower head had LEDS in it…never seen that before!! 😊😊
Property was very out of date. Vegetation was overgrown around the property. Repairs made to the bathrooms were subpar. Leaking toilet and growth in bathtub and flooring. Door lock from outside did not function but was able to be locked from inside only. Room had heavy evidence of smoking, linens had burns as well as drapes. Staff was very straight forward about the condition of the rooms and the functionality of the locks. The staff allowed me to see the room beforehand.
3 of us DID NOT get to stay in our room that we booked through Expedia.com at the Red Roof. The lobby was empty with a front desk persons shoes and purse on the counter were you check in. We were there for hours or more till we were able to get a uber to another hotel near by.
The room was dirty the couch had blood stains all over it like i was in a drug addicts house. Holes in all the walls and every button was broken on the ac so i didnt have ac. The pillows on the bed were dirty and had huge stains on them. The shower was nasty and dirty and also wouldnt stop dripping water even though i didnt use it. I couldnt stay because of all this. Close the hotel down if your trying to do renovations. It was absolutely the worst hotel experience i ever had in my life. I will never return to this hotel again.
They overbooked and I was unable to stay despite having a booking days in advance and wasn’t informed until I arrived to a hotel with nobody at the front desk.
Our “deluxe room, 2 queen beds, non smoking” had 2 doubles, cigarette burns in the bedding, smelled like an ashtray, had a broken window, a moldy bathroom with no toilet paper in it, and to top it all off…the door to the room didn’t lock from the outside!
I checked into my room at 7pm at 10:03pm a roach was crawling on my wall I checked out immediately not even staying the night and got another hotel. Also my shower drain was broken and had duct tape around it 😂😭
I had a fantastic experience at this hotel! They were incredibly accommodating and helpful when I ran into an issue with another hotel. The place is clean, and the service is exceptionally friendly. I'd absolutely stay here again. Definitely a 5-star experience!
I was very disappointed in my stay. We did not even have towels or hand towels or washcloths. The shower curtain did not even fit correctly so water was all over the floor
