This is a large property with comfortable amenities at a good price. The free breakfast is standard fare, scrambled egg, bacon, sausage, and potatoes with the choice of breads for toast. They also offer some breakfast cereals and Chobani yogurt. The outdoor pool was wonderful, situated next to a grove of tall trees.

Staff was very friendly and professional. Room in old building on second floor had severely cracked concrete walkway outside with exposed rebar. Metal outdoor stairs to second floor were very rusty and needed painting. Changed to larger room in upper building. Both rooms very musty. Need fan in bathroom for humidity.

Nice location, friendly staff. The rooms could use a facelift, especially the bathrooms. Also the AC unit is behind the drapes so climate control is challenging, and there must be a moisture problem because there was a big noisy dehumidifier floor unit in there.

If you’re looking for a place to relax and recuperate, the Avon is it. The highlight is the outdoor environment: beautiful well-kept grounds with walking paths, multiple patios and sitting spaces, pool. There are also multiple indoor sitting spaces with lovely furniture, all kinds of games and books available, great for kids as wellThe rooms are spacious (including bathroom) with quality furniture. Absolutely charming

The Avon Old Farms hotel was an amazing experience. Very welcoming. Places to gather with friends throughout. Friendly staff. Delicious food from Seasons restaurant, which is on site. Eli was my server. He was excellent. Would stay again if I am in that area. Highly recommended.
