We had a fantastic vacation here! I loved the craftsman theme of the hotel, the kids loved the pool and the waterslide. The free shuttle around town picks you up right outside the hotel. it was great!

Amazing property, even better views, and pool! Super kid friendly and reminded me of Disneys contemporary. Only problem is the massive need for updating in the rooms. Super dark, and carpet needs to be cleaned a little better. Still great place! Would definitely go back!

Upon checking in, there were additional fees for the hotel. There was construction going on at the hotel at early hours. That was very noisy and made it difficult to rest. We asked repeatedly for a in room coffee maker repair that was never addressed.

Nice quiet stay above a busy town

Hotel is Up above the town of gatlinburg- away from the noise and bustle (but by definition not walkable to anything - it’s a tradeoff). Nice views, bears in the parking lot! We were in the national park and on Ober mountain all day so never even got to use the pool but the hot tub was one of the draws for us even if we ended up not using it. Very friendly staff

The hotel was nice overall and the beds in the room were super comfortable. Only negative I would mention is that our room was definitely showing its age. There were sections of the wall that needed touch ups and there was mold growing around the AC unit. The room had a fantastic view though

Great stay plus bears, oh my!

A bear visited our truck two nights in a row! They are serious when they say don’t leave anything in your vehicles. We left an unopened bag of birdseed in the bed. One less softcover truck bed cover and bag of birdseed later! Totally our fault! We would go back in a heartbeat (w/o birdseed!)! Wonderful indoor pool area for kids! Great dining and bar options. Loved our 5-day stay!

Great view. Nice pool. There is a city of Gatlinburg free shuttle to downtown Gatlinburg. Takes a long route, but convenient. There was a bear in parking lot on my first day, thrilling.

The pool is worth staying here

The indoor pool was the highlight of the stay here. Overall the hotel and rooms could use some updates. The staff was all very friendly. Loved that the city offers a free trolley that goes right to the front door.

Hot box

For the most part, it’s a nice place. It’s deff in need of some maintenance but the biggest issue, and it’s was awful, was the inadequate AC in the rooms. The outside temps were high but still our room was 78 degrees during the day on max AC. The front desk sent maintenance and the cleaned the filter but indicated that the problem was ongoing and there wasn’t much they could do. We had our blackout curtains closed all day even though we booked a room with a view and paid extra for just that. By morning the room temp got down to 72 degrees but was high 70s most of the night. Housekeeping called to see if we needed anything and I said yes, we need better AC and she said yeah sorry, those gig windows get real hot. Obviously, this is a known problem and I’d never expect a HILTON property to not solve it.
