Disliked: Amenities, property conditions & facilities
I recently stayed at this hotel and was disappointed with several aspects of my experience. First, the pool was closed, which was not mentioned when booking. The biggest issue, however, was the lack of accessibility. The handicap door system was not working, making it extremely difficult to get in and out of the property with my cane and suitcase.
Additionally, despite clearly using a walking cane, I was assigned a room that was the farthest from the front desk. When I asked if it was near the elevator, the front desk agent assured me it was—but that turned out to be untrue. My room was actually three hallways away, making it unnecessarily challenging for someone with mobility issues.
The maintenance of the property also needs serious attention. My room had a door missing a screw, the utensil drawer wouldn’t even open, and when I was checking out, the deadbolt wouldn’t retract, leaving the door stuck open. I had to call the front desk to inform them that the room couldn’t be secured and that maintenance needed to address it immediately.
Breakfast was very basic with limited variety, nothing impressive. Overall, the hotel has a lot of maintenance and service issues that need to be addressed. The front desk staff should be more attentive to guests’ needs, especially when it comes to accessibility. I travel frequently and stay at many hotels, and unfortunately, this one falls below expectations. I’m giving it an 1.5 out of 5, and that’s being generous.
