We checked into a room we reserved. 5 The SECOND FLOOR room did NOT have an eleveator. They said it was in their "fine print" on their website. I waited until I got home to check on my laptop and Expedia and it is NOT listed. All luggage must be carried by the guest. I was SHOCKED. We are in our 70s. I had a large bag as we traveled for a 10 day trip. I wouldn't have been able to take it to the second floor by myself. No assistance was offered. The assumption was "we should have known". The hotel was clean 5. My husband was shooed out of the kitchen area when he went in early the morning to work on his laptop (even though nothing was served or there were no other people in the dining area). He asked..."Where else would I sit?" Mmmm...there was no lobby so to speak of, no place there to sit, just a very small check-in area. It didn't seem accommodating to guests.

I will start this by saying the staff is great, and they were very attentive to any concerns - this is not on them. However, upon arrival we were placed in a 3rd floor room with a king bed. The room was very gross. The carpet was disgusting, the walls were dirty, and there were stains all over the bed and furniture. I kindly voiced my concerns to management and asked if I could be moved to a different room. They placed me on the first floor, which recently had laminate flooring put in that replaced the old carpet. I accepted it as it seemed cleaner and I needed a place to stay. However, the bathroom walls were covered in mold and water damage, and the light fixtures were hanging on by a thread. I paid roughly $150/night for this, and would not recommend at that price point.

The property should post something to let people know that the pool area is under construction. I booked at this hotel because they have a heated pool. My granddaughters were looking forward to swimming.

DO NOT STAY HERE

The facility is an old run down dump that shouldn’t have the La Quinta name slapped on it. The bathroom included used, single-use shampoo/conditioner bottles and a shower that turns into a bath since the water doesn’t drain along with the dimmest lighting possible. The shade for the window had been damaged when pulled hard to the side, so for your safety you have in room security lighting all night while trying to sleep. There were also 4 lids, but only one disposable coffee cup, and should I go on, or do you get the point? On the plus side, the night and morning staff were very pleasant, the night guy got me new shampoo bottles when I asked. The morning manager was very pleasant, and explained what she thought happened with housekeeping, but never did apologize.

Arrived late in the night, just needed a place to sleep a few hrs with my family. 1st room we got one of the queen beds was completely soaked with piss, that my 6yr old was now covered in. Got another room and that particular room we were warned had no heat. We were too tired to care at that point. Save your money and stay somewhere else. Was offered no discount or refund for the inconvenience.

Had a wonderful stay, nice warm pool!

We had a really great stay at the La Quinta in Helena, MT. Our deluxe king room was nice and big, but showing a bit of age. The room was fairly quiet even though it was facing a busy road. The outdoor pool was nice and not busy. We were the only ones in there on a Friday night. There wasn’t a hot tub, but the pool was really warm. The breakfast was also good with bacon, eggs and waffles as well as the regular continental items. We feel like we made the right choice staying here!

Nice location and a clean room upon arrival. Handicap parking area requires a side hill effort to exit our vehicle, not ideal. Mobility accessible room had wide doors and strategically placed grab bars in the bathroom, but the beds were a little too tall for my handicapped wife. We were there for 5 nights but had no room cleaning, probably due to being short handed over the Labor Day weekend.
