Room was 58 degrees and heater was blowing cold air. The front desk person came up and tried to reset the thermostat, left and came back again. The maintenance person had left for the day, no other rooms available. The front desk person called to offer us rewards points for the inconvenience, which we declined, we don’t stay in hotels much. The maintenance man was called back, he was so nice, took him replacing a couple parts, but after 3 hours of freezing, it was fixed. He also brought up a small space heater to help warm the room up faster. I was very grateful he was able to fix the heater, temp outside was in the teens. It would have been appreciated to of had a different compensation for the inconvenience other than rewards points, but in the end, we had a warm room to sleep in. Staff and maintenance guy were super nice.
