The room was clean. The air conditioner need to be cleaned. The curtain on the window has the old hooks and majority of the hooks are missing. The microwave could use cleaning out. The freezer on the mini fridge needs the ice defrosted out. . I have stayed in different rooms here at A Prince of Wales Motel, and this last one I stayed in has been the worst.

The person checking us in made us feel like completely unwelcome jerks. The room was tiny, most of the TV channels were blocked, thee bathroom door squeaked, the beds were hard, the toilet paper roll was missing and the wifi didn't work. The bedsheets smelled like detergent in a bad way and the sheets were stained up. When we got as settled as we could we went outside to look around at the grassy courtyard in the back and the check in lady pounced on us out of nowhere and yelled to stay out of there "it's our property!". Ok, if you don't want people going there maybe put a sign? It's not like we happen a fence, there's a path leading back there. I was taken aback by her anger and said fine, I just need the wifi password. She practically screamed that it was on our receipt and stormed off. Through some trial and error I found it, it's the phone number for the motel, with no indication that it is a password. I'm so sorry this woman has to deal with guests while running a motel. Absolutely terrible. I might recommend this place to my enemies.

Implausible reason for inoperable shower

Shower inoperable. When i called front desk, was give lame excuse that water was off from town. I informed the clearly new employee that the sink and toilet water were working, but was told same story. I finally suggested they give me key for next room, where I showered and returned key.
