OK stay

It was a nice hotel to stay at on our long drive home from Florida. However, the room was outdated and we had some noisy neighbors who sounded like they were banging on the walls at 2am. The sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was decent. Overall, a decent experience.

Ants infested at Comfort Inn Hillsville VA

Ants were in both beds. Room 121 and room 215 was infested with ants everywhere. Ants were crawling on us in the middle of the night and they were in our luggage. We had to get up and leave at 3:00am. The worst hotel experience of my life. My youngest son has autism and was highly traumatized by the experience.

The breakfast bar was very appetizing every day. However the security of the room was my major concern. Housekeeping opens the doors and then puts the metal catch out to keep the door open. Not an issue if they are in the area. However, twice I came back early afternoon to find my room open with no staff near the room and brought this up to the house keeping manager twice without any resolution.

Not great for tge cost.

Check in was smooth. Room and bath a little dirty. Shower stained, chipped fiberglass. Water never got hot just stayed cool. Biggest issue was sharing the bed and room with ants.

This was my fifth time staying at this hotel. The safe is very friendly, the rooms are clean, and it is conveniently located off the highway. One of my favourite things about this hotel is the breakfast. One of the best self serve breakfasts you can have at a hotel. Lots of good options and lots of seating. Of note, close by is the Mason Jar restaurant. Excellent local place to go to for dinner.

A gem sitting in a beautiful serene mountain setti

Was a good choice for us on way home from the Beach.Very clean and comfortable. Rooms ate small but nice.Use the supplied card for TV channels.Found it late. Pool was warm and hot tub hot. Just dipped toes in. Patio off pool area very small and enclosed. Chairs need switched out.They are layered mesh and were soaked thru. Breakfast ends at 930 according to clerk when we checked in.Seems early for a weekend.The complimentary ice water was very refreshing and I was able to grab a banana and peanut butter jacket. Very nice set up. Wierd that they still have sign suggesting only 2 people or 1 family in elevator at a time.Stairs were fine for us.

The young man in the morning making breakfast was wonderful. He was very attentive and pleasant. Breakfast was very good. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay again
