As soon as we arrived we were treated like royalty. The service was amazing. The property is in a quiet street but also very close to everything. 10 mins walking in any direction will take you to an attraction. The roof top pool was also a highlight and definitely needed after a day walking around in the heat. The service in the pool / bar area was top notch. The food was also great with options for vietnamese or western available. Some people say that the rooms were a bit dates but we didn't really notice. Would definitely recommend.

We've been to this hotel several times. The rooms are nice and clean equipped with everything. The pool area is nice but sometimes crowded with noisy people and kids. Sun loungers too close to one another. Music list is on repeat, after 4 hours we knew all the songs and the lyrics. Breakfast is nice with lots of choices.

More convenient than expected

This is the second time we visited HCMC and the second staying at Eden Star. Last trip we did more tourist things. This time we experienced the city. So convenient for food, cafes, bars, clubs. The staff are friendly and the rooms cleaned to a high standard. Will probably come a third time.

We were very impressed with the attention of staff to our needs from our welcome at the door to our dining experience in the roof top restaurant. In particular the front office manager, Le Phung Thinh made himself available to assist in our check in /out which we really appreciated after another hotel nearby did not meet our expectations. Our room was quiet & clean. District 1 is accessible by foot to many of HCM’s sites of interest. We enjoyed drinks poolside on the rooftop where there is an excellent view of the city. We considered this stay a very good value.
