The property is unique and charming. We absolutely loved our waterfront view and access to the Lake House restaurant next door. The only disappointment was the hotel Bistro. We hoped for a welcoming comfy vibe but it just felt small and a little neglected. This led me to knock the rating from 5 to 4 as the advertised space is misleading. All in all we loved our vacation and recommend a stay at Shoreline. We don’t have kids or animals but it appeared the pools and grounds would be excellent for both.

We liked that it was close to the Marina and the Express Ferry to Milwaukee. The staff were great! Check-in was a breeze. We had an issue with our deadbolt lock not working. The staff person came up to the room and looked at it. He put in an order to have it fixed. He told us someone fixed it, but he didn't (I guess that staff person wasn't great). The door was a bit squeaky, also. We had a great dinner at the Lake House and a very nice breakfast experience the next morning at the hotel Bistro.

I thought this was going to be an upscaled stay but it was a very 'tired' hotel. Things were outdated and not maintained very well. My AC unit could only be turned down a few degrees and it was so loud, I could hardly sleep. The staff was very kind and friendly.

Everyone was very nice. The breakfast was delicious and the bar staff was so friendly. We needed a few more towels and coffee and they were very prompt with getting these for us. We walked around the area and was very enjoyable.

The staff was very nice. Restaurant next door had great food and excellent food. The room was in desperate need of updating and remodeling. Water damage, horrible cheap shower that’s been patched, ceiling in bathroom coming down, dirty and smells. More noise than we’ve ever experienced. Did not sleep! Was one of the worst stays we’ve had. If there was going to be a Harley convention in town this should’ve been mentioned at booking time.

Nice older building, but the furniture showed it's age. People in the room next door were EXTREMELY LOUD - unsupervised kids. I talked to the front desk about them TWICE (which I normally never do) and they were not much help. They finally quieted down after 11pm, but by then we really couldn't enjoy our stay. Left early in the morning to catch the ferry, so no problems in the am. The front desk staff were friendly, but not super helpful. The balcony view was fabulous, but not worth all the trouble with the "neighbors"

Absolutely beautiful and clean

Really beautiful room. The only complaint is that the balcony had dozens of orb spiders at dusk so he couldn't open the balcony doors overlooking the lake at night.

Disappointed.

Hotel is outdated. Rooms were tiny. We had to switch rooms after our first room had a broken bed. Our second room had a couple other broken things in it (desk chair, fridge shelves…etc) lots of spiders outside the window, overall looks nice on the outside, but the inside needs major re-vamping.

Loud AC and very dated room. Clean!

Hotel was quite dated for the value. Room was very clean and location on the bay was nice. The A/C unit was so loud it was hard to sleep with it coming on and off so we just left it on loud all night. Would not recommend the stay and would definitely not pay this much for the outdated loud room.

Over 200.00 a night don't bite

For the cost, the room was not worth. Room small, very average with tiny tv loud air conditioner, old bathroom. View was nice after we informed front desk our room smelled like smoke ( that room was pretty bad).They moved use to the second room. Hair dryer blew up and front desk promptly brought another one. The location was good but would not stay here again for the cost. Also a $100 charge is issued on your credit card which will be credited back in one to two weeks. I've never liked that concept because they already have your card on file, why chargd the hundred?

Had the perfect room to watch the fireworks display from our balcony. We liked having the two dining options on the property. Enjoyed the view from our balcony. When checking out it was VERY busy and there were no baggage carts available, after waiting for an hour on one. We carried our luggage, cooler, etc to our car.
