A heated saltwater pool in a quiet lakeside neighborhood in Holmes Beach — the pool deck at A Wright Place has lush island landscaping and a reading nook tucked in for the afternoons when the beach has worn you out. The beach is 2.5 blocks away.

The poolside den is a flexible third sleeping space — futon, ground level, and connected to the pool area — that works for a sixth guest or as a quiet retreat when the main bedrooms are occupied. The main unit has a king bed in the primary bedroom and two twin beds in the second bedroom. Two full bathrooms. A shared washer and dryer is on-site.

The kitchen is fully equipped for meals at home. The living room has a flat-screen TV. High-speed WiFi included. A gas grill is at poolside for evening cookouts.

Please note: rates are higher during peak periods — March, July, and the holiday weeks of Easter, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Bookings generally run Saturday to Saturday during busy months.

One small pet is welcome with a $150 non-refundable fee. Parking for two vehicles.

Anniversary Trip

Fantastic location—everything was just minutes away by golf cart, which made exploring so easy and fun! The bed was super comfortable, and we had a great stay overall. While the home is a bit dated and could use a little extra cleaning in spots, it didn’t take away from our trip. We’d definitely stay here again!

Relaxing getaway at A Wright Place

We had a fantastic stay at *A Wright Place* on Anna Maria Island! The location couldn’t be better—just two short blocks to a beach access point, making it super easy to enjoy the ocean anytime.The home was clean, beautifully updated, and smelled fresh when we arrived. The kitchen was fully stocked with spices, utensils, and everything needed for cooking or grilling. The master bedroom bed was very soft and comfortable. Our adult kids found the twin beds a bit firm and wished they were XL length, but they’d be great for younger guests.The saltwater pool and surrounding area were a highlight—peaceful, beautifully landscaped, with both sun and shade and lots of seating. It really felt like our own private oasis. The outdoor shower and privacy gate made coming back from the beach easy, and the laundry room was well-stocked with beach gear like chairs, toys, and even a volleyball.There are a number of stairs, including a fun spiral staircase connecting the main level to the pool and laundry area, which worked well for us but might be a consideration for others.The management company was friendly, responsive, and checked in throughout our stay. We’re already talking about planning our next visit!

We had a great stay. Unit was just as advertised. Private pool was awesome!! Lots of stairs so I wish I wouldn’t have broke my leg about 6 weeks ago. We had a blast though! Beach is right down the street!! Would recommend this place.

Our family had a great week! The pool was awesome, location was awesome! It was a short walk to the most beautiful beach! It had everything you would need! Downstairs area had a sofa bed that was perfect for our teenage daughter and her friend within steps to the pool! We highly recommend!

Awesome and clean place to stay with a pool.

The location was very close to the Gulf. Home was very clean and well furnished. The pool was heated and very refreshing. The palm trees around the pool have it that Caribbean feel. This place is highly recommended to stay at. Thanks for a great vacation place to stay.

Location is great. Pool is great. Need new beach chairs, one is broken. Couch felt like it had sand all over it. Kitchen is nice and well stocked. Overall a nice place to stay. I would probably stay here again.

We had a great week, good location . Close to the beach and shopping. Great back yard with awesome pool . Big heated pool , deep end over 6 feet deep surrounded by the beautiful garden. House have everything you need feel home away from home !
