So much fun!

We had a fabulous stay at Coconut Cottage 2! Check-in was very easy. They even called to make sure everything was okay. Wi-Fi was slow but only the college kids complained! Definitely will return!!

Great location but Dirty Bathroom

We enjoyed our stay for the most part. The location was perfect and loved the little pool. The downfall was the distrusting mildew in both bathrooms. As soon as we checked in we called and asked that they be cleaned. That never happened and instead we went to Publix and bought Clorox Mildew Remover and doused both bathrooms. One mostly came clean and the other still had mildew on the inside and outsiders when we left. If we are a clean freak, this unit may not be the place for you. Also, the floors always felt dirty, so make sure to have indoor shoes to wear.

Father’s Day Getaway

A great location, close to the beach, the restaurants and the grocery store. Easy to get in and out and very quiet at night. My seven-year-old really loved the pool. We love the fact it only took us a minute and a half to get to the beach.

This cozy cottage delivered everything that was advertised! Located just a block from the beach and within easy walking distance to food choices, grocery, and free shuttle for all island access. All you need for a family getaway!!

Our trip was amazing, the house itself was very clean upon arrival, beds comfy and kitchen fully equipped. We arrived on a rainy afternoon, and shortly after our arrival our kids jumped into the heated pool because it was that warm! The pool was amazing to have for our young kids and the property was a few steps to the beach!! Having skinny’s right next door was amazing as well for a quick bite to eat with fussy toddlers…this house had everything and more! We will be back for sure!

We had a great time at CC2! We had a little snafu with the pool alarm when we arrived late at night, but it was resolved. The house is exactly as advertised. Very well appointed and so close to the beach. Great spot to vacay with the fam! And the pool—oh my gosh. The greatest feature of the house. We loved having that right outside our door and all to ourselves!

AMI (Anna Maria Island) Coconut Cottage #2 (between Skinny's and the Publix grocery store) Stay: 3/26/23-4/2/23 We had two small families (2 parents & 1 child each) stay at this location. The location itself is wonderful. Directly beside Skinny's for burgers and beer, 1.5 blocks from the beach (seriously short walk), and close to the trolley stop and on beach café. The property itself was exactly as it was promoted, clean, normal household items, and the private pool was amazing for lounging around with our loved ones.......

I would not recommend this property for the following reasons: the property was much smaller than portrayed online, the beds were extremely hard/uncomfortable (the best beds were bunk beds), sheets were scratchy and low quality, construction materials were left in one of the closets that my toddlers got into, the property manager said they were sending someone for two days and I had to follow up because no one came, and the Internet was extremely slow. We left a full day early to go back to Orlando and didn’t miss this condo one bit. Imagine an old property flipped/remodeled quickly and appointed with the lowest quality or thrift finds. Not what we were expecting for the cost we paid for a three night stay.

Disappointing pool issue

Cute clean little cottage as advertised. We specifically selected a property with a heated pool due to staying on AMI in late November. We arrived on a Sunday with a freezing pool temp. I called immediately and the customer service rep said she would call first thing Monday. By Monday late afternoon, someone had been there, and placed a garden hose trickling in cool water into the pool, and the pool remained too cold to swim, so my 5 year old was again devastated. I called again Monday evening...same situation unfolded. Tuesday came and went. Another call Tuesday evening came with news the compressor needs replaced and it would be taken care of Wednesday. By Wednesday evening the heater lights were a least back on, but the pool was still uninhabitable. We had planned to check out Thursday but had a late flight, so thought maybe we could get at least a short swim in that morning before vacating. We awoke to a cold pool then a woman knocking on our door at 9:50am stating “how much longer are you going to be, because you need to checkout ASAP”. Lesson learned to have your host VERIFY firsthand the pool actually is heated before you arrive on property.

Great getaway!

This was a girls weekend for birthday/graduation celebration, and it was perfect. Pool was nice in the sun. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep. Beach was walking distance from the house and easily to come and go from! Beds and sheets were a little uncomfortable, but showers were hot, air was cold, and overall stay was amazing.

Location was perfect!

This was our 2nd time visiting the island! The location of this house was unbeatable! Was walking distance from everything you needed! The house was definitely a lot smaller than it looked in the pictures and was right for my family of 7! But we made it work!
