Ocean access right across the street! Enjoyed having the private pool, but needs cleaned daily due to the heavy rain and wind. Cottage is small, but worked for two of us. Needs some updating and the black mold needs removed in both bathrooms. Primary shower curtain was moldy and the bed is very uncomfortable.

Great Stay!

Great location and easy access to the beach. Rental was clean and the private pool was a nice bonus. We used the pool a lot. We didn’t have any issues with check in or out. The rental had beach chairs which was also nice. We will be back.

What a great stay! This cozy cottage feels like you're staying in a tropical oasis. It's the perfect area for walking to the beach, dining or shopping. A 5 minute car ride will get you everywhere else you'd like to go on the island. I highly recommend.

Cute cottage with great pool and very cold AC!

We booked this last minute and we’re pleasantly surprised. Have stayed on North and South part of island but first time in this area. The public beach is way too close so we walked down to 34 street beach access for less congested area. The pool was one of largest private pools in a house we have rented. The inside was very clean and AC was cold! We had 4 people and any more would have been uncomfortable. Great communication with AMI locals. Skinny’s is great and new soft serve ice cream shop Frosty Oasis was close and a new favorite. Would rent here again!

Stay away from AMI Locals

My husband and I love staying in vacation rentals by VRBO. However, this rental was the exception. The unit was small and cheaply furnished but cute. We needed a place to stay because we were in the area for our father's 90th birthday celebration in Bradenton. Although this unit was not luxurious, it was relatively expensive. We were ok with that because we booked on somewhat short notice. However, the first morning of our visit there was power outage around 9:30 AM. It sounded like a blown transformer so we were concerned that we wouldn't be able to use the unit to get ready. I contacted AMI Locals right away to ask if they could move us to another unit. They said yes at first but then asked us to wait until 1:00 PM for the power company to fix the problem. Unfortunately, the power was not able to restored until 6 PM and we were unable to get ready for our family celebration there. Although the company assured us that they would help us they did not follow through. When we asked for a half day credit, they refused. Please be warned that this company will not take care of you if something goes wrong!

Perfect Location

Very close to Manatee Beach, which is one of the nicest beaches on the island. It’s a short walk to the grocery store, shopping, pharmacies, and restaurants. We had a few issues upon arrival and they were fixed within 3 hours of me asking AMI to fix them. The pool was a bonus, all to ourselves. Love the island. We will be back and staying with AMI Locals!

As a family relax vacs excellent. Super extremely clean house with every little detail taken care!!! It look bigger in the pictures but still decent space. Quiet area, nice neighborhood. Supermarket and pharmacy very close. Burger place right in the corner (delicious 😋). Beach across the street but must say not the best beach(our personal experience). Property pet friendly but before bringing your dog you must know they are not allowed at any beach @ the island. I recommend it!

Perfect for small family!

Our family of 4 (kids ages 10 and 4) stayed here for a fun week! Perfect location and a very short two minute walk to the beach. We loved having a private pool to ourselves. It was very private even though there were 4 units under the same roof. The plush palms provided a lot of privacy, at the most we may have heard a few splashes from the neighbors pool. We also loved that there were two twin beds in the second bedroom so the kids didn’t have to share a bed. It was also nice to have two bathroom. The rental was very clean and provided plenty of towels (many don’t). Check in/out was very smooth. Only suggestion to make it more perfect is more places to hang towels and a better window covering or blinds for the twin bedroom. We plan to stay in the same unit again!!!

This bungalow was perfect for the two of us! Great location only one block from Manatee Beach (great nightly live music and good food) and free trolley located mid island. Next door to good burger and beer spot! The private pool was fantastic and warm. Super clean!!! Very private.

Amazing home steps from beach

Coconut cottage 4 is an extremely beautiful 2 bedroom home one block away from the water. The private pool, we’ll stocked kitchen and beachside decor make this home away from home. We didn’t want to leave!!!! Our property manager Daisy was also responsive and helpful to accommodate all of our needs. Two thumbs up to her and the management company. My family and I will surely be back!!
