The room was clean and nice, nice view of the bay. Only issue was that the door that is used to join two adjacent rooms allowed a lot of noise from my neighbors to come through and it was quite loud. Biggest issue is how they charge you to park, with very little nearby free options. The fee to park should be waived for guests, instead it’s quite expensive. Lobby smells fishy at certain times of the day, was also hoping for a more intimate hotel restaurant/bar experience, which is lacking here. Check in staff not as hospitable as the servers were. Nearby restaurant is pretty decent and onsite Starbucks is convenient.

The room was nice and quiet. I was on the 8th floor, King, partial bay view. There are several things guests should be told clearly before arrival. I booked and paid in full for four nights, and only afterward received an email informing me of ongoing construction. The room description included the word “renovated,” so I assumed renovations were complete. I later called and learned the on-site restaurant I used to enjoy was also closed, which was not mentioned during booking. At check-in, I was told there would be a $100 incidental hold, but no one explained that $100 is only a threshold. Each time you exceed that amount, an additional $100 hold is placed. I would have preferred a single $400 hold for the full stay, but was told that wasn’t an option. This should have been communicated upfront. Self-parking is $27 per night, which is fine. Just thought I would give a heads-up. The in-room Dometic refrigerator also does not cool adequately. If you have medications or perishables, they will not be kept at a safe temperature. I had to buy a cooler and rely on hotel ice to keep my child’s milk safe. Overall, clearer communication around construction, closed amenities, the authorization policy, and the refrigerator limitations would have prevented several avoidable surprises. I will visit the hotel again to enjoy the restaurant which I am told may be finished late January 2026. However, I will not be a guest again at this hotel because of refrigeration not being adequate.

The housekeeper pretends she cleans the room and she doesn’t. Check your sheets before you lay in your bed.
Dirty pillow case this first night we checked in.
